In this thesis the effect of addition of tire powder to coal blending for coking on the quality of coke was studied.The proximate and ultimate analyses,caking index,and thermogravimetric analysis of materials were carried out,and the synergistic effect between coking coal and tire powder was investigated by exploring pyrolysis,viscoelasticity of coking coal and tire powder mixture with different mixing proportions.The effect of addition of tire powder and Shenfu sub-bituminous coal in coal blending on the quality of coke was probed through the crucible coke experiment.The results show that the caking index of lean coal with 20% tire powder addition is less than 1/2 of the theoretical value,showing strong negative synergistic effect.The experimental caking index of fat coal with 20% tire powder addition is higher than the theoretical value,giving a positive synergistic effect.This result shows that with the increase of coal rank,the negative synergistic effect of tire powder on caking index obviously increases.In the pyrolysis of four kinds of coking coals with addition of tire powder,the weight loss curve of fat coal is closed to the theoretical weight loss curve,and the weight losses of the other three coking coals are higher than those of the theoretical weight loss,suggesting that there exists synergistic effect between the tire powder and the coal,which promoting the coal pyrolysis,resulting in the increase of pyrolysis rate.The substitution 1/3 coking coal with tire powder reduces the range of plastic temperature and fluidity of Masteel blending coal.Comparing with Laigang blending coal,adding 5% tire powder in the blending coal,its range of plastic temperature becomes smaller.Adding 3% Shenfu sub-bituminous coal in the blending coal,the range of plastic temperature is further reduced.When 3% tire powder replaces fat in the basic coal blending,the PRI of coke obtained increases by 4.5% and 3.8%,and CSR decreases by 19% and 15%respectively compared to those of the basic coke.When 3% tire powder is instead of1/3 coking coal,the PRI of coke obtained is increased from 54.1% of basic coke to55.2% increasing by 1.1%,and CSR is reduced from 43.8% basic coke to 37.1%decreasing by 6.7%,respectively.The quality of coke from 3% Shenfu sub-bituminous coal to be instead of 1/3 coking coal is further decreased.With the increasing the amount of tire powder and sub-bituminous coal in coal blendings,the quality of coke continues to decrease.With 3% tire powder and 3% Shenfu sub-coking coal instead of 1/3 coking coal,PRI increases 4.6%,and CSR decreases18.8%.The quality of coke from briquette coal by adding tire powder and Shenfu sub-bituminous coal to basic blending coal is better than that of basic coke.The PRI and CSR of coke from briquette coal with 3% tire powder and 1% Shenfu sub-coking coal instead of 1/3 coking coal decrease 1% and increase 7.9% respectively.PRI of cokes from 3% and 5% tire powder addition in Laigang coal blending increases by1.1% and 3%,and CSR decreases by 4.4% and 5.6% respectively.The quality of cokes obtained by adding different proportion of tire powder and Shenfu sub-bituminous coal is still lower than that of Laigang blending coal.,The PRI and CSR of coke produced by blending coal of Laigang blending coal decrease 1.2% and increase 0.8% respectively compared to the basic coke of Laigang blending coal.
