Dicumyl peroxide(DCP)was used as initiator,glycidyl methacrylate(GMA)was used as graft monomer,diallyl phthalate(DAP)was used as co-monomer,and the fused graft was carried out in the torque rheometer.iPB-g-GMA-co-DAP was prepared,and the effects of monomers,initiator dosage,reaction temperature and rotational speed on the grafting rate were investigated.The results showed that the grafting rate increased when DAP/GMA was 1.2,and MFR decreased when DAP/GMA was 1.2.The addition of DCP increased the graft first and then decreased,DCP degraded polybutene-1,MFR increased significantly with the addition of DCP.The addition of GMA would make the grafting increase first and then tend to remain constant,while excessive amount would reduce the grafting efficiency and MFR.When the reaction temperature is low,the grafting rate increases with increasing temperature,but MFR and the degree of degradation of polybutene-1 increase with increasing temperature.Rotational speed had little effect on grafting percentage and MFR.With the increase of grafting rate,the contact competition between iPB-g-GMA-coDAP and water gradually decreased,and the surface properties gradually improved.Under polarized light microscope(POM),the spherulites of iPB-g-GMA-co-DAP were smaller with the increase of grafting rate,but the boundary between spherulites blurred gradually with the increase of graft number.TG showed that the thermal stability of polybutene-1decreased with the introduction of GMA and DAP,but the thermal stability gradually improved with the increase of graft rate.The thermal stability of the 2.32 graft rate iPB-gGMA-co-DAP was similar to that of polybutene-1.Differential scanning calorimeter(DSC)shows that the melting enthalpy and relative crystallinity decrease with the increase of graft rate of iPB-g-GMA-co-DAP,but the crystallization temperature increases and the crystallization rate increases.The fitting effect of Avrami equation and Ozawa equation on non-isothermal crystallization process of iPB-g-GMA-co-DAP is not good.The fitting effect of Mo Zhishen method is better.Under the same degree of crystallinity,the time required for the graft OF iPB-g-GMA-co-DAP is obviously shorter than that of IPB-1,and the graft is easier to crystallized than that of pure iPB-1.The Kissinger method calculated that the activation energy required for crystallization of iPB was significantly higher than that of iPB-g-GMA-co-DAP,and the increase of grafting rate would reduce the activation energy required for crystallization.PBT was modified by blending polybutene-1 with iPB-g-GMA-co-DAP at 1.55 graft rates.DSC shows that iPB-g-GMA-co-DAP can significantly reduce the melting temperature and crystallization temperature of PBT,and also reduce the crystallization rate of PBT,indicating that iPB-g-GMA-co-DAP has better compatibility with PBT than polybutene-1.When PBT accounts for 80% of the blend,the tensile and bending strength of PBT/ iPB-g-GMA-co-DAP are stronger than those of PBT/iPB,but the tensile and impact strength of the two blends are smaller than that of PBT.The impact properties and elongation at break of PBT/ iPB-g-GMA-co-DAP are larger than that of PBT,and the toughness is better than that of PBT.
