With the rapid improvement of modern living standards, people’s requirements for daily textiles are not limited to comfortable, but also higher requirements for their functionality, such as the textiles of moisture absorption and quick drying, antibacterial deodorization, and non-ironing are popular among people.Besides, due to its simple operation, high specific surface area and porosity, electrospinning technology is widely used in various fields, such as filtration, sensors, biomedicine, textiles, etc. At present, there have been many studies on the combination of electrospinning micro-nano fibers and traditional textile fibers to prepare functional textiles. However, there are very few studies on the dyeing properties of textiles, thus, the research of dyeing performance has become more and more important. While, due to the unique nano-size and structure of micro-nano fibers, the traditional dyeing process is no longer suitable for its dyeing,so the dyeing of micro-nano fibers faces new challenges. This article takes electrospinning technology to prepare modified polyacrylonitrile(PAN)micro-nano fibers, uses reactive dyes to explore the dyeing process, then combines this technology with wool to prepare PAN micro-nano fibers/wool core yarn, and further the woven fabric is made by weaving,at the last, the dyeing performance of the fabric is studied.First, polyethyleneimine(PEI)is used to blend and modify the PAN solution to prepare a modified PAN spinning solution, and combines the electrospinning technology to prepare modified PAN micro-nano fibers, then use reactive dyes to modify PAN.The micro-nano fibers were investigated for dyeing time, dyeing temperature, dye concentration and PEI concentration and other parameters to obtain dyeing performance under different dyeing parameters. The results show that PAN nanofibers is successfully introduced into the cationic group of PEI—amino groups, and the morphology is good, and the glass transition temperature and crystallinity do not change significantly;the optimal dyeing parameters of modified PAN nanofibers are: dyeing time is 70 min, dyeing temperature is 50℃,the dye concentration is 15% owf,the PEI concentration is2%.What’s more, the dye uptake rate is over 95%,and the color fastness is level 4.Secondly,the dyeing mechanism of modified PAN micro-nanofibers with reactive dyes is studied. The results show that the dyeing kinetics model of modified PAN micro-nanofibers by reactive dyes should adopt the pseudo-second-order kinetic model, and as the temperature increases, the dyeing rate constant increases and the half dyeing time decreases. The adsorption of the modified PAN micro-nanofibers conforms to the Langmuir adsorption model, indicating that the combination of reactive dyes and modified PAN micro-nanofibers is chemically localized adsorption. Finally, the modified PAN micro-nanofiber and wool fiber are combined to prepare modified PAN/wool core-spun yarn, which is tested and analyzed by SEM,FTIR,single yarn strength test, and TGA.The test results show that the modified PAN/wool core-spun yarn successfully has cationic groups, and the skin-modified PAN micro-nano fibers are tightly wrapped on the core wool fiber, with good morphology and uniform diameter distribution. The strength and thermal stability of the core-spun yarn are better than pure wool yarn.Further, the fabric is woven by the obtained core-spun yarn using a semi-automatic weaving machine, and observe the morphology of the fabric by SEM.It can be seen from the figure that weaving has no obvious damage to the morphology of the core-spun yarn, and the interweaving of warp and weft of the fabric is obvious. And then the dyeing of fabrics is explored, and the dyeing performance is analyzed through dye uptake,K/S value, color fastness,TGA and tensile performance tests. The experimental results show that the introduction of cationic groups has a positive effect on dyeing with reactive dyes at a certain extent. And the dye uptake rate can reach more than 95%,the K/S value of the modified PAN core-spun yarn fabric dyed with clanarin red and clanarin blue is about 4,and the clanarin yellow is about 16,and the color fastness to washing and rubbing of the fabric are both above level 4.The thermodynamic properties of the fabric have not decreased after dyeing, the performance is stable, and meet the clothing requirements.
