The copper clusters compounds have charming structural with potential applications in the fields of photoluminescence,electrochemistry,catalysis,magnetism,medicine and so on.Conjugated organic ligands such as 1,10-phenanthroline and pyridine derivatives show strong coordination ability and unique conjugated planar structure which often are used as protective ligands or bridging ligands for constructing copper clusters coordination compounds.And alkynyl and thiol ligands can easily form bonds with monovalent coin metal(copper,silver,and gold)forming diverse structures coin metal cluster compunds.In this paper,we synthesized six copper clusters coordination compounds by using 1,10-phenanthroline,tert-butyl acetylene and tert-butyl mercaptan and their crystal structures are determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction technology.The main work are divided into the following three parts.(1)A hydroxyl-bridged copper cluster coordination compound[Cu4(phen)4(OH)4(H2O)2][Cu(EDTA)]2·14H2O(1)has been obtained by one-pot method using Cu(OAc)2·H2O,conjugated rigid organic ligand 1,10-phenanthroline(phen),and ethylenediaminetetraacetate(EDTA4-).The discrete structure unit[Cu4(phen)4(OH)4(H2O)2][Cu(EDTA)]2·14H2O is extendedtoa3Dsupramolecularstructure{[Cu4(phen)4(OH)4(H2O)2][Cu(EDTA)]2·14H2O}n by van der Waals interactions and hydrogen bonds.Its luminescence,electrochemistry properties and photocurrent response characteristics have been studied in detail.(2)Acopperclustercoordinationcompound[Cu14(CF3COO)6(tBu C?C)8(4,4'-bpy)]n(2)has been obtained by comproportionation reaction using Cu(CF3COO)2·x H2O,Cu powder,tert-butyl acetylene and bridging ligand 4,4'-bipyridine(4,4'-bpy)with solventsanhydrousmethanolanddichloromethane.[Cu12(CF3COO)4(tBu C?C)8(dpe)]n(3)has been obtained using Cu(CF3COO)2·x H2O,Cu powder,tert-butyl acetylene and changed bridging ligand 1,2-di(4-pyridyl)ethylene(dpe)with solvents anhydrous ethanol and dichloromethane.Luminescence properties and photocurrent response characteristics of 2 and 3 have been studied in detail.On the other hand,[Cu15(suc)3(tBu C?C)8(C?C)]n(4)has been obtained using Cu(NO3)2·3H2O,Cu powder,tert-butylacetylene and bridging ligand succinic acid(H2suc)with anhydrous methanol under solvothermal reaction conditions.[Cu14(glu)2(tBu C?C)8Cl2]n(5)has been obtained using Cu(NO3)2·3H2O,Cu powder,tert-butylacetylene and changed bridging ligand glutaric acid(H2glu)with solvents anhydrous methanol and dichloromethane under solvothermal reaction conditions.(3)A one-dimensional chain copper cluster coordination compound[Cu14(tBu S)12I2]n(6)has been obtained via tert-butyl mercaptan ligand,cuprous iodide and reducing agent sodium borohydride.The iodides ion of compound 6 not only act as anion template,but also acts as a bridging ligand.Its luminescence and photocurrent response characteristics have been studied in detail.
