With the continuous progress of society,people have more and more functional requirements and quality requirements for paper,so it is of great significance to develop paper with antibacterial properties and good physical properties.In this paper,galactomannan contained in wild acacia seeds is used as paper strengthening agent,which was modified by different methods and mixed with antibacterial agents to make antibacterial paper,and the effects of the two on the antibacterial properties and physical properties of paper were studied.Elemental analysis,infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy and other detection methods were used to analyze the samples.Laccase oxidized or citrated galactomannan combined with chlorhexidine can improve paper physical properties and antibacterial properties.When the oxidation time is 5 h and the dosage of chlorhexidine is 2%,compared with the control paper,the tensile index,burst index and folding endurance of the paper made by adding 1% oxidized galactomannan increased by 18.4 %,31.9% and 200.0%.In addition,when the amount of citric acid is 7% and the amount of chlorhexidine is 1.5%,compared with the control paper,the tensile index,burst index and folding resistance of the paper made by adding 1% esterified galactomannan The degrees increased by 20.3%,36.6% and 195.1% respectively.The paper added with oxidized or esterified galactomannan and chlorhexidine has antibacterial properties against E.coli and Staphylococcus aureus.With the increase of the amount of antibacterial agent,the paper’s inhibitory effect on bacteria is significantly improved,and the paper The antibacterial effect of Staphylococcus aureus is better than E.coli.The paper prepared by the combination of TEMPO oxidized galactomannan and polyhexamethylene biguanide can improve the paper’s physical properties and antibacterial properties.When the amount of TEMPO is 0.45% and the amount of polyhexamethylene biguanide is 2%,compared with the control paper,the tensile index,burst index and fold resistance of the paper made by adding 1% oxidized galactomannan are respectively Increased 27.3%,23.3%,256.7%.The addition of oxidized galactomannan and polyhexamethylene biguanide can also improve the physical properties of recycled paper.Adding 1% carboxymethylated galactomannan(TEMPO dosage 0.6%)compared with the control recycled paper,the tensile index,burst index and folding endurance of the paper were increased by 37.7%,41.5%,368.0% respectively.When the amount of polyhexamethylene biguanide was 1%,compared with the control recycled paper,the tensile index,burst index and folding endurance of the paper were increased by 38.1%,39.0% and 325.0% respectively.It can be seen from the bacteriostatic circle method that paper added with oxidized galactomannan and polyhexamethylene biguanide and recycled paper have antibacterial properties against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.The compound preparation of carboxymethylated galactomannan and nano silver can improve the physical properties and antibacterial properties of paper.When the carboxymethylation time is 65 min,the amount of nano silver is 1%,and the papermaking p H is 5,add 1% carboxymethylgalactomannan,the tensile index,burst index and resistance of the paper Compared with the control paper,the folding degree increased by 18.1%,10.2% and 142.3% respectively.Adding carboxymethylated galactomannan and nano silver to paper can improve the physical strength of recycled paper.When adding 1% carboxymethylated galactomannan and 1% nano silver,compared with the control recycled paper,the tensile index,burst index and folding endurance of the recycled paper increased by 37.9%,60.3% and 142.9%.It can be seen from the bacteriostatic circle method that the paper added with carboxymethylated galactomannan and nano silver and the recycled paper have antibacterial properties against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
