Under the background of rapid urbanization and industrialization, the economic strength and population attraction capacity of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region have been continuously enhanced, while the supply of ecosystem servi ces has been unable to meet the growing demand. Therefore, the conflict between economic and social development with ecological and environmental protection has become a crucial issue in the future development of this area. These three cities are geographically adjacent, and there is a strategic relationship of mutual integration and coordinated development in the fields such as economy, society, and ecology. However, due to the restriction of administrative divisions, the ecological and environmental protection policies in the three regions are lack of systematicness and coordination, which leads to the insufficient scientific and rational landscape ecological pattern allocation in the whole section.Hence,it is quite urgent to construct the ecological security pattern from the perspective of the human and nature harmonious coexistence.Taking the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as an example, this paper has used InVEST model, regression analysis model and ArcGIS spatial analysis module to estimate the supply and demand of three ecosystem services, including water yield, carbon storage and food production,as well as the spatial distribution characteristics of habitat quality. Then ecological advantage areas can be identified, and its ecological network can be constructed, also the spatial orientation of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional development can be comprehensively coordinated,at the same time the ecological security pattern can be finally obtained. Finally, the results are as follows:(1)In the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the high value area of water yield service supply was concentrated in the northeastern coastal region, the high value area of carbon storage service supply was concentrated in the Yanshan and Taihang Mountains region, and the high value area of food service supply was concentrated in the central and southern Hebei plain region. The demand for water yield services, carbon storage services and food services in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was divided by the eastern of Taihang Mountain and the southern of Yanshan Mountain, forming a trend of higher demand in the southeast and lower demand in the northwest. The average habitat quality index in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was 0.53,and the habitat quality in its northwest was better than that in the southeast.(2)Based on the matching characteristics with supply and demand of ecosystem services and the spatial distribution of habitat quality, the ecological advantage areas in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region were divided comprehensively.Water yield-carbon storage and habitat quality were mainly distributed in Yanshan Mountains and Taihang Mountains. The dominant areas of grain service and grain-water yield service were mainly distributed in the southeast of China,A large area of superior water yield service area has been formed in the Bashang area. The non-dominant area was mainly concentrated in the construction land which was greatly affected by mankind.(3)The ecological network space in Beijing-Tianj in-Hebei region based on the distribution of ecological advantage areas has been recognized. The area of ecological source area in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was 21634.90km2,accounting for 10.0%of the total area of the study area.50 ecological corridors were constructed with a total length of 3863.50km.The consensus has identified 38 ecological nodes. The ecological network has realized the interconnection between ecological sources and was conducive to the flow and exchange of ecological elements.(4)The development space of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was determined comprehensively by using the ecological advantages, and an ecological security pattern was formed, which consisted of ecological network space, urban and agricultural development space in Beijing-Tianjin-Tang region, urban and agricultural development space in central and southern Hebei province, and conservation space for aquatic plants in Bashang region.A comprehensive, complex and networked ecological spatial structure model has been established in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Based on the spatial distribution characteristics of the ecological security pattern,it has put forward the corresponding ecological security protection measures. This study can provide reference for ecological environmental protection in the BeijingTianjin-Hebei region, and provide theoretical support for the formulation of territorial spatial planning and ecological construction policy in the region, which is of great significance for maintaining the sustainable economic and social development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
