The splicing process is an important process in the production of polyester mesh,connecting the semi-finished polyester mesh end to end.The quality of the splicing belt directly affects the quality of the finished polyester mesh.At present,the automatic seaming machine is monopolized by foreign countries,which is expensive to introduce and takes up a lot of capital for spare parts.Most domestic polyester net manufacturers use domestic semi-automatic seaming machines or manual seaming machines,which are slow in splicing,few in production network types and hard to guarantee the quality.At the same time,it also faces the problem of long training time for skilled seaming technicians,which greatly restricts the development of polyester network industry in China.Before this topic was launched,the mechanical part and system design part of the seaming machine with high-speed and high-precision are almost blank in China.Aiming at the above bottlenecks in the industry,this paper has developed the first domestic automatic seaming machine control system,which achieved high-speed and high-precision automatic seaming of polyester nets,broken the monopoly of foreign technologies,thus reduced the production cost of polyester network,and is expected to promote the development of the industry.According to the technological process and technological requirements of the seaming machine,this paper designs a control system of seaming machine with high-speed and high-precision based on B&R programmable controller(PLC)and Human Machine Interface(HMI).The seaming machine with high-speed and high-precision is composed of PLC,frequency converter,servo driver,pressure sensor,solenoid valve,etc.Nine motors are used in the system to realize the functions of wire feeding,threading,flapping,jacquard and walking,and the functions of chuck clamping,wheel steering,and air collection waste line are controlled by analog signals and digital signals.PLC automatic control is adopted to realize real-time monitoring and automatic error handling for all production links.The main power supply circuit has the functions of low-voltage protection,over-voltage protection and over-current protection,which can provide the system with 220 V AC,72 V DC and 24 V DC,and has extremely high power supply reliability.In order to further improve the seaming speed of seaming machine with high-speed and high-precision,this paper designs overlapping process plan for the independent working parts of the operation side(OS)and the opposite side(BS)of the seaming machine,at the same time,adds the delay mode and multi task operation mode to shorten the cycle time,and verifies the feasibility of the plan through the polyester network seaming test.After the design of this system is completed,with repeated on-site testing and eight months of actual production,it is determined that this control system can be adapted to a fully automatic seaming machine,and can ensure the safe,stable and reliable operation of the seaming process production line.At present,the system can be used for different types of seaming production,such as single-layer nets,double-layer nets,two and a half-layer nets,and three-layer nets.The production speed is stable at 2300 wires / hour,which can reach the production capacity of similar products of foreign companies.
