Carbon emissions and the climate change they caused have become the focus of global attention. As the main sector of China ’s energy consumption and a key area of energy conservation and emission reduction, the State Council has successively introduced relevant policies for the construction of a low-carbon transportation system and energy conservation and emission reduction for the transportation industry.Commitment and setting reasonable emission reduction targets must be supported by scientific theory and empirical analysis. In order to explore the correlation and evolutionary trends of regional transportation carbon emissions,Firstly, this article calculated the carbon of the transportation industry of 30 provinces(except Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and Tibet Autonomous Region)in 2007-2016 based on the "top-down" method.,and used gravity models to build a carbon emissions spatial association network.Secondly, the social network analysis method is used to analyze the spatial correlation structure characteristics of transportation carbon emissions.Feature indicators are selected from three aspects of the overall network, node network and spatial clustering. The provincial carbon data of 2007-2016 is used to measure the carbon emissions network of transportation.Based on this, the block model will be used to estimate the carbon emissions of inter-provincial transportation. The network is divided into blocks to examine the spatial correlation of carbon emissions in transportation from the overall structure. The research finds that:(1)the spatial correlation network of China’s provincial transport carbon emissions is increasing in intensity, and the network complexity and stability are gradually increasing;(2)the spatial correlation network of transport carbon emissions shows "East,West, and West In the network structure of developed eastern provinces, transportation carbon emissions are closely related, while the central and western provinces are relatively marginalized;(3)Eastern coastal provinces belong to the two-way spillover or net benefit sector, the central region belongs to the brokerage sector, and the western backward provinces belong to the net Overflow plate. Finally, through the Quadratic Assignment Procedure(QAP)regression analysis to explore the spatial adjacencies between provinces,we found that per capita GDP and fixed investment in transportation have a significant impact on the spatial correlation structure of transportation carbon emissions network. The research results of this paper can provide a theoretical basis for the formulation of coordinated emission reduction policies for regional transportation.
