With the continuous expansion of urbanization, urban traffic congestion has become an important issue for urban development. The development of urban subway has solved the problem of urban traffic to a certain extent. At the same time, the subway has the advantages of large transportation volume and fast speed, and it has become a popular travel mode for citizens. However, the subway is usually built under the ground,semi-enclosed,with large passenger flow and dense personnel. Therefore, the operational safety of the subway is particularly important. Therefore, the identification of the risks of subway operations can provide certain guarantees for the safe operation of the subway and avoid accidents to a certain extent. Therefore, this paper takes Xi’an subway operation as the research object, analyzes the current situation and existing problems of Xi’an subway operation, based on the relevant theoretical basis of subway operation safety risk, identifies the risk factors in the operation process of Xi’an subway, evaluates each factor by using AHP,and obtains that the risk control level of Xi’an subway operation is level II(good). Finally, some preventive measures are put forward for the safety operation of Xi’an metro, including strengthening the management and control of personnel factors, strengthening the inspection of equipment and facilities, ensuring the appropriate working environment and improving the management level. This paper identifies and analyzes the risk factors in the operation process of Xi’an subway, and finally provides corresponding preventive measures for its safe operation, aiming to provide a certain theoretical basis and method for the safe operation of Xi’an subway,so as to promote the rapid and safe development of Xi’an subway, and provide a certain reference for the safe operation of other cities.
