In this paper, soil and groundwater in typical sewage irrigation areas of Hebei Province were sampled or directly detected in monitoring wells to detect the content and distribution of inorganic elements, organic matter, agricultural residues, bacteria and oxygen consuming substances.combined with geophysical techniques, the electrical conductivity of soil and groundwater to analyze the migration trajectory of heavy metals in soil and groundwater.Analyse and discuss the migration regularity and migration ability of heavy metals and other pollutants in soil and groundwater in the study area. The plan, line chart and distribution map are drawn by EXCEL,ARCGIS,SUFFER and other software to analyze the geochemical characteristics of soil and groundwater in the study area.By comparing the historical data and actual monitoring data of sewers and groundwater, analyse the sources of groundwater pollutants.it is concluded that the current sources of groundwater pollution should come from several different aspects: the cumulative effect of sewage irrigation in advance, the further leaching of soil pollution caused by sewage irrigation, agricultural fertilization and so on.The geochemical baseline value is determined by geochemical comparison method and statistical analysis method, and then the pollution status of the site, geological accumulation index method and pollution load index method is used for analyse the pollution situation.Through the calculation and evaluation of the geochemical baseline in this area,it is concluded that except for Cr and As,several other heavy metal elements are related to human activities in varying degrees, especially Hg and Zn.The soil heavy metal pollution in the sewage irrigation area mainly occurs in the surface layer, the pollution degree is moderate.Hg belongs to strong pollution;Zn belongs to moderate pollution range;Cd belongs to non-pollution to moderate pollution. The deep soil situation is pollution-free.
