| Effective use of biological resources and protection of biological diversity have always been the goals to be achieved in the planning,design and management of the nature reserve system.In the construction of nature reserves,identification of priority areas with wild animals and plants as protection objects is an effective way to realize regional biodiversity conservation and optimization of nature reserves.In recent years,related studies have found that incorporating ecosystem services into protection objects to construct a protected area system has an important role and significance for improving its protection efficiency.Taihang Mountain is an important mountain range and geographic boundary in eastern China.It is also one of my country’s priority biodiversity conservation areas.It has important ecological significance and extremely high protection value.This paper takes Taihang Mountain in Shanxi as the research area,based on the dual protection goals of biodiversity and ecosystem service functions,by identifying important species reserves,ecological function areas and ecological protection areas,and performing spatial overlay analysis with existing natural reserves.Then put forward the protection countermeasures of space optimization.The main findings are as follows:(1)Regarding biodiversity as the protection goal,this paper selects three indicators of species richness,species importance space,and important species suitable habitat based on the two dimensions of species and habitat to evaluate the biodiversity in the study area,and through overlay analysis Identify important areas for biodiversity conservation.The research results divided the species reserve into 4 levels,namely extremely important,important,more important and general areas.Among them,the extremely important areas are mainly distributed in Hengshan-Wutaishan in the north of Taihang Mountain in Shanxi,and Zhoushan-Taiyueshan in the central and western parts of Shanxi.The Yunlong Mountain area in the east and the Zhongtiao Mountain-Lishan area in the southeast have a total area of 13,785 km~2,accounting for 16.6%of the study area;important areas are distributed around the extremely important area,with a total area of 28,653 km~2,accounting for the total area of the study area.34.4%;the more important areas are distributed in most of the southeast and north of the study area,with a total area of27422 km~2,accounting for 32.9%of the study area;general areas are mainly distributed in the low-lying area and the low-lying area at the junction of the plains and mountains in the south of the study area.The total area of hills is 13,375 km~2,accounting for 16.1%of the study area.(2)Regarding the ecosystem service function as the protection goal,this paper selects the three functions of water conservation,soil conservation and carbon storage based on the In VEST model and Arc GIS spatial analysis tools to evaluate the ecosystem service function of the study area,and identifies it based on this An important area for ecosystem service functions.The results of the study are divided into 4 levels according to the importance,which are extremely important,important,more important,and general areas.The extremely important areas are mainly distributed in a large area north of the central part of the study,and a small amount are distributed in the eastern part of the study area.The area is 10,431 km~2,accounting for 12.7%of the study area;the important areas are mainly distributed in a large area north of the center of the study area,and a small amount are distributed in the eastern and southeastern marginal mountains,with a total area of 25556 km~2,accounting for 31%of the study area;The more important areas are mainly distributed in most of the central and southern parts of the study area,and a small amount are distributed in the central and eastern areas,with a total area of 33416 km~2,accounting for 40.5%of the study area;general areas are mainly distributed in the southwest and southern marginal areas,with a total area of 13026 km~2.Accounted for 15.8%of the study area.(3)For the dual goals of biodiversity and ecosystem service functions,this paper based on the method of grading assignment and spatial superposition,superimposed and analyzed the extremely important areas of species protection and the extremely important areas of ecological functions,and finally obtained the important areas of ecological protection in Taihang Mountain,Shanxi,The total area is3908km~2,accounting for 4.7%of the total area of the study area.Superimpose and compare the spatial distribution of important ecological protection areas and existing nature reserves to propose specific spatial optimization strategies,including:(1)Integrate planning for overlapping areas of existing nature reserves;(2)In existing nature reserves It is recommended to build or expand nature reserves that are identified as extremely important areas for species protection or ecological functions;(3)Important areas for ecological protection identified outside of the current nature reserves(that is,areas where species protection and ecological functions are both extremely important areas),It is recommended to plan a national park to build the entire Taihang Mountain natural reserve system in Shanxi.This paper uses the dual protection goals of biodiversity and ecosystem services to conduct spatial optimization research on the priority protection of plant diversity in the Taihang Mountain in Shanxi.It aims to provide theoretical basis and reference for the construction of the Taihang Mountain natural reserve system in Shanxi and provide a reference for the biodiversity in my country.The spatial planning of nature reserves with national parks as the main body can provide a reference. |
