Research On Environmental Performance Evaluation Of China’s Heavy Pollution Enterprises Under The Structural Reform Of Supply Side

While industrial civilization has brought rapid development to the economy,it has also destroyed the earth on which we depend at the same speed.The common global environmental problems are all warning of the shortcomings of our economic development.In the past traditional economics,the goal of the company was to pursue profit maximization,so it often promoted the company to generate revenue and move forward at the expense of environmental damage.However,this short-term profit-seeking behavior violates the law of sustainable development and will only make human society pay a more painful price.In recent years,steel,petroleum,chemical and other industries have structural contradictions,insufficient research and development capabilities and imperfect institutional mechanisms,and are deeply affected by the low concentration of production capacity and overcapacity.The entire industry is underpowered,and its supply and market.The demand is out of touch.Since the structural reform of the supply side has been proposed,the development and transformation of the heavily polluting industry is imminent.At a time when environmental pollution has become the primary concern of people,how to achieve a win-win situation for heavy polluting enterprises to achieve economic benefits and environmental benefits has become a valuable issue.Sustainable development is the global development policy of this century,Environmental protection and technological innovation are the fundamental ways for its effective implementation.Based on this,this paper first analyzes the domestic and foreign scholars’ views on supplyside structural reform and environmental performance.Secondly,it analyzes the policy spirit of supply-side structural reform and integrates it into the environmental performance evaluation system of heavily polluting enterprises.Select C company as the research object and substitute the data to analyze the environmental performance of C company in the supply-side reform background.It is found that C company has done a good job in destocking and de-leveraging,and it also attaches great importance to the construction of environmental protection system.At the same time,there are problems such as inefficient production of backward production capacity,high production and operation costs,lack of technology research and development and environmental investment.In response to these problems,this paper suggests that Company C should clarify the proportion of the company’s backward production capacity,specifically remove the backward excess capacity,do a good job of cost control management,and increase capital investment in technology research and development and environmental protection related work.In order to deepen the supply-side structural reform,C company and other heavily polluting enterprises have certain help in improving the environmental performance through the research in this paper.Today’s China is in a critical period of economic transformation and upgrading.The task of energy conservation and emission reduction must go all out.Whether it is enterprises or individuals,we must further enhance the awareness of crisis and the sense of crisis,and persist in protecting the environment in economic and social development.At the same time,the environment promotes the development of the economy and society,and achieves a win-win situation for social,resource,economic and environmental benefits.
