At present, the role of plant essential oil in the control of stored grain pests is increasingly prominent.Plant essential oil plays an increasingly important role in controlling stored grain pests. In this study,we studied the repellent effect of extracts(essential oils)from four kinds of spices commonly used in families on P.interpunctlla, and explored the potential ability of using spice essential oils to control P.interpunctlla,so as to provide theoretical basis for further research.1.The chemical constituents of essential oils from four spices were analyzed by GC-MS.The results are as follows:(1)There were 33 chemical components in ginger essential oil, among which four main components were zingiberene(38.74%),β-sesquiphellandrene(13.76%),B-bisabolene(10.9%)and α-Curcumene(8.13%).(2)29 chemical constituents were detected in essential oil of Perilla frutescens essential oil, among which Terpinene(16.09%),1,4-Cineole(14.18%)and myrcene(13.97%)were the main components.(3)The fennel essential oil contains 39 chemical components,of which the content of Diethyl phthalate(43.23%)is the highest,cis-Anetho(37.33%)is only secondary, and the content of α-Pinene(14.8%)is higher than that of other components.(4)18 kinds of chemical substances were detected in the essential oil of Zanthoxylum bungeanum. The main components were 3-Methylhexane(12.15%)and(+)-Limonene(10.41%).2.The results of electroantennogram(EAG)showed that the kinds and concentrations of essential oils had certain effects on the EAG of adults, and the EAG responses of male and female were different.Zanthoxylum bungeanum essential oil had the highest relative reaction value, which was significantly higher than the other three(P< 0.01).There was no significant relationship between EAG values of different concentrations of each essential oil and sex.
