| With the acceleration of my country’s industrialization process, attention to carbon emissions and a series of climate changes caused by this still cannot be reduced.Shandong’s industrial sector is the main industry in the development of the national economy with energy consumption and huge output value. The rapid development of the industrial economy is accompanied by huge carbon emissions, which makes the relationship between economic development and the ecological environment even worse. The worsening ecological environment has adversely affected the economic development of Shandong Province.Shandong Province was approved as a comprehensive pilot zone for the conversion of new and old kinetic energy in early 2018.It advocates green transformation and upgrading, and improves the carbon productivity of the industrial sector. It can truly realize the green transformation of Shandong’s economy and comprehensively enhance Shandong’s economic strength across the country. This paper takes carbon dioxide emissions as undesired output, uses the SBM model that considers undesired output to measure the carbon productivity of 34 industrial sectors in Shandong Province from 2006 to 2018,analyzes the redundancy rate of comprehensive energy consumption, and then uses The Malmquist-Luenberger index analyzes the dynamic changes of total factor carbon productivity and its decomposition, and finally uses the panel Tobit model to explore the factors that affect the carbon productivity of the industrial sector in Shandong Province. The research conclusions show that:(1)The overall carbon productivity of the entire industry in Shandong Province is relatively stable. The industrial carbon productivity of petrochemicals, electronic equipment and instruments, and the production and supply of gas and water are the most effective in 2006-2018.The overall carbon productivity of the entire industry in Shandong Province is relatively stable, and the mining industry has the largest change in carbon productivity.(2)The increase in intertemporal dynamic changes in Shandong’s industrial carbon productivity from 2006 to 2018 was mainly due to the contribution of technological progress. The total factor carbon productivity of the industrial sector almost all changed steadily within a growth rate of less than 20%;the technical efficiency change index was flat, except for the relatively obvious decline in the technical progress change index in 2012,2014 and 2017,it changed steadily in other years.(3)The increase in factor endowments, energy efficiency and foreign investment levels have a positive and significant effect on the improvement of Shandong’s industrial carbon productivity, while the more intense intra-industry competition has a restraining effect on the improvement of Shandong’s industrial carbon productivity. However, although the size of the enterprise, the conversion degree and efficiency of scientific research investment, and the proportion of state-owned property rights have positive, positive, and negative relationships with carbon productivity, respectively, the three have no practical and obvious effect on enhancing industrial carbon productivity in Shandong Province. |
