| High-tech industry,as knowledge and technology-intensive industries, can have an impact on the ecological environment through economies of scale when they are appropriately agglomerated in a certain area. However, the technological innovation capabilities of high-tech industry in China are insufficient, and the advantages of high added value, high efficiency and low pollution are not significant enough, the crowding effect caused by the excessive industry agglomeration will also aggravate the pollution discharge and reduce eco-efficiency.Based on this, the thesis analyzes how the industrial agglomeration affects eco-efficiency from the perspective of high-tech industrial agglomeration, and probes into whether there are spatial spillover effects. The main research contents are as follows:(1)Measuring the agglomeration level of high-tech industry, and analyzing the characteristics of industrial agglomeration spatial distribution evolution. The location quotient was used to calculate the level of high-tech industrial agglomeration in 2009-2018,and the characteristics of high-tech industrial agglomeration spatial distribution evolution were analyzed with the help of standard deviation ellipse. The results show that: the overall level of high-tech industrial agglomeration in our country is not high, showing a trend of declining east-central-west;the overall spatial distribution pattern of high-tech industry in China is "south(west)-north(east)" which indicates that hightech industry has obvious agglomeration in this direction, and the scale of agglomeration is showing an increasing trend. In addition, the eastern coastal area is the main body of high-tech industrial agglomeration spatial distribution in China.(2)Measuring the eco-efficiency and testing its spatial correlation.Based on the inter-provincial panel data of 2009-2018,the Super-SBM model was used to calculate the eco-efficiency of 30 provinces in China, and the spatial correlation was analyzed by exploratory spatial data analysis method. The results show that: the overall level of ecoefficiency in China is not high, provinces with higher eco-efficiency,such as Beijing,Guangdong,Tianjin,Shanghai,Jiangsu are mostly in the eastern region, while the central and western regions have relatively low levels of eco-efficiency,and the regional eco-efficiency difference is obvious, showing a trend of "Eastern>Central>Western";Moran’s I of provincial eco-efficiency is significantly positive, and the H-H,L-L agglomeration phenomenon of eco-efficiency is obvious, which indicates that the provincial eco-efficiency in China is spatially positively correlated.(3)Exploring the impact of high-tech industrial agglomeration on eco-efficiency and its spatial spillover effects.Under the premise of considering the time and space factors at the same time, the dynamic spatial Dubin model was constructed to explore the effects of high-tech industrial agglomeration on eco-efficiency and spatial-temporal effects, and to decompose and analyze the spatial-temporal effects. The results show that: eco-efficiency not only has spatial spillover effects, but also has circulating cumulative effects and spatial-temporal effects, that is when the local eco-efficiency in the previous period increases, the current eco-efficiency of the local and adjacent areas will also be improved under the action of spatial correlation; The impact of high-tech industrial agglomeration on eco-efficiency has spatial spillover effects, and the spatial spillover effects are different in time, that is in the short term high-tech industrial agglomeration has a U-shaped relationship with local eco-efficiency,which indicates the industrial agglomeration plays a role of restraining and then promoting on local ecoefficiency, while it has an inverted U-shaped relationship with the eco-efficiency of neighboring areas which indicates the industrial agglomeration plays a role of promoting and then restraining on the eco-efficiency in neighboring areas. In the long term,high-tech industrial agglomeration as a whole will promote eco-efficiency,but no significant spillover effect is formed. |
