| Osteoporosis is characterized by low bone mass which is a common disease in the elderly.With the increasing aging of the population,the problem of osteoporosis is becoming more and more obvious.Osteoporosis treatment depends on prevention because osteoporosis treatment works in a long time.Quantitative ultrasound technology has been widely concerned and studied because of its obvious advantages,such as simple operation,no radiation to the human body,high repetition accuracy and so on.Although ultrasound bone densitometer has been present in the market,most of them don’t do well in the repeatability of the measurement.The parameters of bone mineral density measurement were SOS,T_Score and Z_Score.Because the T_Score and Z_Score can be calculated by the reference standard value,standard deviation of SOS and bone mineral density,the accuracy and repeatability of the parameter SOS is very important.This paper designs and develops an application to measure SOS of radius based on the Microsoft foundation class library platform of VS2008,using the principle of axial transmission detection.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background.Secondly,this paper analyzes the principle of ultrasound bone densitometer.Finally,this paper describes the software system which consists of data acquisition module,displaying module,echo processing module,report generation and printing module.The results indicate that the repeatability of the system performs excellently. |
