With the increasing aging population, osteoporosis has become one of the most important diseases affecting human health. Osteoporosis is a group of metabolic bone diseases characterized by bone tissue in unit volume reduced, while bone tissue has normal calcification, calcium salt and substrate is normal proportion. It’s caused by a variety of reasons. Seriously affecting the quality of life and attracting the attention of the whole society, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis have become a hot research accordingly. This article relates to a non-invasive, no radiation quantitative ultrasound technology to achieve bone density measurment. The main job is to design a software system of measuring instruments.The design work of this thesis mainly include the following contents:1,Presents a system calibration methods for a broadband ultrasonic attenuation measurement instrument.Bone density measurement based on broadband ultrasound attenuation is a non-invasive means for early diagnosis of osteoporosis. To ensure accuracy, the system must first be calibrated in the measurement process. We use ultrasound standard bone density measurement module to calibrate, which avoids the influence of water and fat on measurement, and effectively reduces the frequency characteristics error of the amplifier due to the inconsistent of dynamic range, and simplifies the amplifier circuit.2,Using the Android system software design platformMaking the device more portable for bone collection, the interface more user-friendly, so that ordinary people without the expertise also can operate it, making the device suitable for home use. Using Android platform, not only reduces the cost of the equipment, but also in data processing capabilities, interactive interface for ease of use, the expansion of capacity, are far beyond the existing embedded platforms. At the same time make development easier and faster.3, The remote control module design is based on RPC (Remote Procedure Call Protocol)Using the extension ability of Android platform, the device can be connected to the Internet via WIFI. Not only can operate the equipment in the interface on the device, but also through the computer in the same network.The system used in the school’s 2015 examination of the faculty. Measurement results and existing medical statistics osteoporosis data are consistency.
