The ground penetrating radar(GPR)has become an important component of non-destructive testing for road depends on its fast,nondestructive and high efficiency.GPR is representing the current direction of development of measurement for road quality,such as compaction,water content and asphalt content.Stone matrix asphalt(SMA)pavement has more and more application in our country because of its excellent high temperature rutting resistance,low temperature crack resistance,skid resistance and durability.Research on the composite dielectric model of SMA mixture is the foundation of identification for properties of SMA pavement based on the GPR.The current research for dielectric model mostly focus on microwave remote sensing,logging and other fields,taking soil,rock and other typical features as the research object.Research for the dielectric model of SMA mixture is relatively short.According to the above situation,the composite dielectric model of SMA mixture is studied in this paper.The research is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China,and the main contents and conclusions are as follows:1)Study and analysis the composite dielectric model of asphalt mixture established by our team before,determine the parameters of model based on test data,then the composite dielectric model of SMA mixture is established;2)Based on the test,the influence of some factors including the void ratio,aggregate volume ratio,oil-stone ratio and frequency on the composite dielectric model of SMA mixture are analyzed.The results show that the oil-stone ratio has less influence on the composite dielectric constant of SMA mixture,the frequency,aggregate volume ratio and void ratio has high influence on composite dielectric constant of SMA mixture.3)The rationality of the composite dielectric model is proved.The comparative analysis is done between the composite dielectric model of SMA mixture and the traditional dielectric model to test the model precision.The results show that the composite dielectric model of SMA mixture has higher accuracy than linear model,root mean square model and Rayleigh model.4)Establish the three-phase volume ratio of SMA mixture inversion analysis of ant colony algorithm based on the composite dielectric model of SMA mixture.The inversed result shows that the error is small,further proving the accuracy of the composite dielectric model of SMA mixture.5)Combined with the engineering projects,this paper analyse the three-phase volume ratio of SMA pavement using the newly built inversion analysis method,proving the accuracy and rationality of the new model.The composite dielectric model of SMA mixture can represent the dielectric properties of materials with high accuracy,which has provided a theoretical basis and technical means for non-destructive testing of SMA pavement performance such as compaction and asphalt content based on GPR,combined with the the three-phase volume ratio of SMA mixture inversion analysis of ant colony algorithm.
