In the past 20 years,the rapid expansion of China’s auto market attracted worldwide attention and led to the rapid development of the domestic auto parts industry.Over the last decade China automotive parts suppliers look in a thriving period,but actually they are facing lots of challenges in the market economy and social environment.The competitions in China’s automotive parts industry become more and more sever.Each company changes the management strategy from the initial production and marketing to the whole supply chain.ZT Company has its own supplier management system,but the system is only a general framework,ZT purchasing personnel should learn how to refine and improve this framework according to the properties of each product according to the actual market situation.Neither in ZT Company global headquarter nor in Asia-Pacific branch there do many insufficient aspects,particularly with regard to supplier risk management.There is little appropriate methods and strategies.This paper is focus on above mentioned points,describing the supplier risk management status and development trend in China and in the world.Combining some cases of ZT company,pointing out the insufficiency of ZT company in suppliers risk management system,using procurement management,and risk management,and data model of decision and game methodology,based on development situation of global car steering wheel decorative parts,from suppliers price,and delivery and quality three aspects customized a series Science,practical,and objective improvement method,to avoid any deviation and miscalculations in ZT company due to human factors.It will be a constructive,standardized,sequencing,and dominant supplier risk management strategy.Meanwhile,I discussed with ZT management team several times,and prepare a concrete plan in order to ensure the effective implementation of these suggestions and methods.So except to concern itself of production,good management strategy of suppliers risk will support automotive parts supplier to improve itself competitiveness and occupy market share.Hope that these strategies will help ZT Company optimizing its supplier structure,footprint,integrating and rationalizing its procurement resources,reducing procurement costs,improving supply quality and product delivery,stimulating innovation and improvement capabilities of suppliers.However due to my limited knowledge and experience,my understanding and analysis of supplier risk management awareness and understanding are narrow.I will keep learning more in the future study and work to continuously improve these strategies,and extended to more areas.
