The Research On Development Strategic Of HX Tanker Corporation

Since the global financial crisis in 2008,the shipping industry has experienced years of winter.Today the world economy is still in the post period of crisis of structural adjustment,instability uncertainty and unbalanced factors in the economic development is increasing.Infected by the political and economic factors,shipping industry is unstable with the two major characteristics of excess capacity and slowly demand.At present,China’s economy is on the initial stage from the "old normal" into the new one,when is the key time for the transition of economic and social development.Currently HX Tanker Corporation has gradually made a good performance and has accumulated a certain capital,and inexperience.However,there are also some disadvantages lie in the development and operation of market,crew management and shipping professionals.Competition is increasingly fierce and with the external environment such as jet fuel market changes,there are both opportunities and challenges to HX Tanker CorporationThis paper researched the strategy of HX Tanker Corporation from the perspectives of theoretical research and practical analysis.Take the PEST Model,Five Forces Model,Value Chain,SWOT Analysis,BCG Matrix and GE Matrix Model as theoretical tools,this paper studied the internal and external environment of the company,and sort out the advantages and disadvantages,resources and capabilities of it.Based on which,strategic planning and selection of the company made,and then clear the direction and determine the basic competitive strategy of the company,and finally put forward the implementations.Results of this paper on the one hand apply the theory tools of strategic management to practice,which is an effective verification for the theory.On the other hand,strategic planning is useful for the development of the company,and it’s of grate significance to the resources integration and optimization,and business objectives.
