| ANSI N13.1-1999 is one technical standard which is mainly used for guiding to sample and monitor releases of airborne radioactive substances from the stacks and ducts of nuclear facilities.This paper describes the application background of ANSI N13.1-1999 standard in Sanmen nuclear power plant,the requirement of ANSI N13.1-1999 is described simply too.The technical proposal,computational fluid dynamics analysis is performed to help select a appropriate sampling location.The final sampling location is verified for Sanmen nuclear power plant through stack tests which includes velocity profile,average swirl angle,tracer profile and aerosol profile tests on stack model and velocity profile test on site stack according to the method recommended by ANSI N13.1-1999.The stack gaseous effluent sampling system and monitoring equipment is introduced too in this paper.Meanwhile,the transportation efficiency for 10μm aerosol and radioactive iodine is analyzed,the result shows that for 10μm aerosol,the transportation efficiency is more than 50% after a optimization design of the sampling system.The uncertainties are calculated for the radioactive particulate,radioactive iodine and noble gas of the sampling and monitoring system.And finally,the requirement and execution steps of the quality assurance defined in this standard is introduced too. |
