Research On Gestamp Program Development Based On Mass Production

China has replaced US to become the No 1 in Auto manufacture& sales since 2009.After several years high speed growth,the China Auto market growth speed slowdown continuously.Meanwhile,as more and more OEM change their core markets to China,the competition in China automotive market is more and more fierce.As the upstream industry,Automotive component companies are also under more and more pressure on quality,cost and delivery from OEM companies.The higher management level in Automotive companies is required.As most of the production indicators are decided by program development process,it is not strange that program management attracts emphasis from company management team.The article points out massively supplying products to OEM companies is quite important for the profit earning in Automotive component companies,then make analysis on the theory basis about how to build the mass production model scientifically which includes mass production concept,production operation system design and process proposal chose& implementation,project cost management.And according to the theory basis make a summarization of project development characteristics based on mass production requirements.Then the article make the research on the Gestamp company program development methodology based on mass production.First systematically introduce the common program development procedure-GPCS –GLOBAL PROGRAM CONTROL SYSTEM which includes seven phases i.e.product concept development.Then the main four program indicators includes economical efficiency,production efficiency,quality stability and EHS in Gestamp in mass production are introduced,these factors are mainly used to evaluate the operation system in Gestamp.According to the GPCS project development procedure,the article makes detail analysis on how to manage project in different project phase to satisfy the main production indicators after SOP with example of a chassis front axle carrier development.The quality,cost and delivery after SOP can be guaranteed by good project development is also verified by actual production indicators of the example cited.Finally,the article summarizes the core concerns of program development based on mass production according to the experience from Gestamp company,which is appropriate for most of the Auto component company.
