In recent years,with the development of highway construction in Xinjiang,many high-speed construction have been completed.However,the early damage of highway is also more prominent.The occurrence of early road diseases will affect the performance of highway operation and the frequent maintenance will increase the cost of highway operation,so it is of great significance to study how to improve the durability of highway and to maintain the long-term use of pavement.This paper chooses Turpan-Urumqi-Da Huang Shan Highway as the typical research region.The topography,climate,traffic composition,road building materials,pavement structure and pavement maintenance of typical research area are investigated and counted.Based on the survey results and the data of road surface inspection,the evaluation index of pavement performance was selected,and the performance of pavement used in the study area was evaluated.The disease of road surface is statistically analyzed,and the development regularity and reason of disease are inquired.According to the distribution of soil type of sub-grade in the study area,the paper divides the soil of the research area and compares the technical condition of road surface and roadbed under different soil types,and probes into the relation between the soil type and pavement performance.In this paper,the structural parameters of the typical pavement are studied and the mechanical response of each pavement structure layer is analyzed with the finite element analysis software Ansys,and the fatigue life of the road is estimated.Through the study on the characteristics and regularity of the performance of the high speed asphalt pavement with the increase of road use life,the paper analyses that the design of the large pavement structure is unreasonable and the fatigue life is short.The reasonable reliability of pavement structure,especially the correct selection of base thickness,can effectively improve the bearing capacity of pavement structure.This provides some useful references for the future durability pavement design in Xinjiang.
