Research On The Export Competitiveness Of China Electromechanical Products And Its Influencing Factors

Mechanical and electrical industry is the important pillar industry of China’s national economy.Since China’s entry into WTO,the export volume of mechanical and electrical products has continued to grow.It has become the engine to promote the development of China’s foreign trade.It also plays an irreplaceable role in many fields including promoting the high-quality development of domestic economy,maintaining balance of international payments and increasing national employment opportunities.With the weakening of China’s traditional competitive advantage and the re-distribution of international industries,China’s mechanical and electrical industry is facing more intense international competition.It is urgent to enhance the export competitiveness of China’s electromechanical products.Firstly,this paper analyses the export situation of China’s mechanical and electrical products from the perspectives of product categories,export markets,export trade modes and the nature of export enterprises base the statistical data of China’s foreign trade in mechanical and electrical products over the years.It is believed that the quality of export commodities is not high and the export market is too centralized in China’s foreign trade of mechanical and electrical products,excessively depend on foreign capital and other issues.Secondly,we use the strategic development model of industrial competitiveness,Eviews regression tool to make theoretical analysis and empirical studies on the influencing factors of China’s export competitiveness of mechanical and electrical products.The research holds that the current ways to enhance the export competitiveness of China’s mechanical and electrical products are as follows: first,to deepen reform and further release the competitiveness of China’s mechanical and electrical enterprises;second,to speed up personnel training and improve the human capital level of employees;third,to realize the capital accumulation of China’s mechanical and electrical industry as soon as possible and break through the poverty trap of capital accumulation;fourth,we should foster win-win international relations and further develop international markets.
