PEBB(Power Electronic Building Blocks)-The modular design concept makes the standardization of power electronic equipment possible.This modular design method improves the maintainability of the inverter,while shortens the development time and reduces the cost.These properties have become a key factor in the application of power electronic devices.This paper is based on the concept of PEBB to design three level inverters.The combination of 4 IGBTs+2 diodes is used as a PEBB module unit.The design of PEBB module mainly includes two aspects of structure design and controller design.In the structure design mainly includes the design and analysis of laminated busbar,the design and analysis of the radiator,the mechanical structure design PEBB.It uses the company’s high speed industrial Ethernet network EtherCAT.The EtherCAT network combines each PEBB module.In the aspect of controller design,we mainly finish the software design of master station controller,and design the software and hardware of the station controller.In this way,the modular design of an electric motor equipment is completed.It is possible to assemble the power electronic equipment with greater capacity.Experiments show that the main controller can complete its control function.The task scheduling sequence is consistent with the state diagram.The EtherCAT master station starts normally and can communicate with the main controller use the SPI.EtherCAT can start communicating with the main station from the normal start of slave station.The experimental results show that the three level waveform is consistent with the simulation results.
