With the development of UAV technology, the complexity of the tasks performed by UAVs has increased, and the execution of tasks by multi-UAV networks has become a trend. In multi-UAV formation operations,UAVs are often required to quickly judge and make decisions on the situation at the mission site. Therefore, multiple UAVs need to communicate frequently and allocate tasks reasonably. In this multi-UAV network environment, the communication security between each UAV and the identity authentication of the UAV are particularly important. At present, researches on multi-UAV network security certification are mostly focused on secure communication protocols between UAVs.Although the security of the communication between the drones is effectively guaranteed, the real-time nature of the message transmission between the UAVs cannot be guaranteed. In a complex task environment, due to the instability of the multi-UAV network topology, once the communication link is disconnected,a tedious authentication mechanism is required to re-establish the connection. This process often takes a long time and affects the real-time nature of message delivery. In view of this problem,we proposed a continuous authentication scheme based on channel state information(CSI),which can simultaneously guarantee the security of the UAV communication and the real-time nature of message passing. The specific research content of this article has the following three points:First,a multi-feature device fingerprint based on channel state information has been proposed, and its corresponding fingerprint extraction and verification algorithm has been designed. The verification algorithm can resist most identity-based attacks, such as replay attacks, masquerading attacks,man-in-the-middle attacks, etc. At the same time, the algorithm can complete a message string authentication process in 1.5ms,realizing the security of message passing and doubel guarantee of real-time nature.Secondly,we designed a method for location-assisted authentication of UAVs based on channel state information. This method can compare the position of each UAV during the UAV formation flight, and then use the position information to assist the authentication of the UAV identity. In addition, the method uses inter-range ranging technology to detect whether the UAV has suffered a GPS spoofing attack, and calculates its own real position information through a positioning algorithm, thereby achieving resistance to GPS spoofing attacks. Finally,we combined the above two points to design a continuous authentication scheme for multi-UAV networks, and achieved the simultaneous security and safety of message communication between UAVs in a multi-UAV formation combat environment.
