As a kind of linear voice coil motor,cylindrical voice coil motor is widely used in many fields because of its good output performance,fast response speed,small size and other advantages.The research object of this paper is the cylindrical voice coil motor used in the linear impact system.Based on the analysis of principle of cylindrical voice coil motor,the research is carried out from two aspects which are copper loss and eddy current damping force of motor.Firstly,according to the demand of linear impact system,the motor used is cylinder voice coil motor.According to the distribution characteristics of motor magnetic circuit,the magnetic circuit method is used to calculate the air gap magnetic field which is compared with the Halbach magnetic circuit structure.Starting from the working principle of the motor,the mathematical model of motor thrust and impact system is derived by the analytical method.Then,starting from the mode of voice coil motor for impact,it is shown that the copper loss is Joule loss which is produced in one process of impact.Through the analysis of the influencing factors of Joule loss of winding,it is found that the structure of motor winding and the length of extra yoke are the main factors affecting the copper loss.Based on these two factors,the winding structure parameters and the length of extra yoke are determined to minimize the motor copper loss through the analytical method,and the copper loss experiment is carried out to verify the analysis.Finally,based on the analysis of stator armature field and mover composite field of the cylindrical voice coil motor by finite element method,it is clear that the motor eddy current is mainly distributed on the stator winding support frame.The mathematical model of the eddy current damping force of the skeleton is derived by analytical method,and three methods of the skeleton slotting are proposed to restrain the eddy current damping force.The finite element analysis shows that the winding support frame with connected slot and stiffener structure has the best restraining effect on its eddy current damping force,and the acceleration experiment of motor is carried out to verify it.
