With the process of urbanization in China and the development of the western region,the demand for mountain architecture is increasing.The step-terrace frame structure is a typical representative form of mountain architecture.The salient feature of the stepterrace frame structure is that the stiffness is severely unevenly distributed along the vertical direction,which leads to a large difference in its response to the earthquake.Compared with the ordinary frame structure.The seismic response of the upper ground layer and above of the structure is greater,while the seismic response of the lower falling part is smaller than that of the ordinary frame structure.And obvious weak parts will appear near the upper ground layer during earthquake,the yield failure of the ground caused by the hinge at the end of the upper ground column is prone to occur.Light energy dissipative rocking frame is a new form of rocking structure,which is mainly composed of steel frame hinged on the lower part and foundation and SelfCentering Energy Dissipative Bracing System(SCED)attached at the bottom.Compared with the traditional rocking wall structure,this light energy dissipation rocking frame not only has small weight,convenient on construction,and is practical to the reinforcement and repair of the existing structure,but also has better energy consumption capacity and self centering characteristics due to the additional SCED at the bottom.In this paper,a new type of light energy dissipative rocking frame-step-terrace frame structure,which is composed of light energy dissipative rocking frame and concrete stepterrace frame structure,is proposed.Through the finite element software Open SEES,a series of finite element models of light energy dissipative rocking frame-step-terrace frame structure based on different step-terrace layers,step-terrace spans,rocking frame positions and stiffness ratio of rocking frame in 7-degree(0.15g)area are established.Different seismic waves are input and the elastoplastic dynamic time history is divided according to the small,medium and large earthquakes In this paper,the influence of light energy dissipative rocking frame on the seismic performance of the step-terrace frame structure is analyzed.The main contents of this paper are as follows:By simulating the quasi-static test of a step-terrace frame structure in the laboratory,the reliability of the model established in this paper is verified while the finite element software Open SEES is used for the elastoplastic dynamic time history analysis.In this paper,six simulation models of step-terrace frame structures with different floors and spans are designed,and the elastoplastic dynamic time history analysis is carried out explore the change rule of seismic performance of step-terrace structures before and after the light energy dissipative rocking frame is set.The light energy dissipative rocking frame-step-terrace frame structures with different setting position and different stiffness ratio is designed to study the seismic performance of the light energy dissipative rocking frame structure.In this paper,nine simulation models of light rocking frame structure with different step-terrace story and step-terrace span are designed,Dynamic elastoplastic time history analysis is carried out to explore the change rule of seismic performance of light rocking frame structure with different step-terrace story and step-terrace span.
