| The construction industry has made a great contribution to China’s economic development and the improvement of housing conditions for urban and rural residents.But,that its high pollution and high energy consumption do not meet the future demand has become a general consensus.Therefore,the industry’s transformation has been widely concerned.Under this background,prefabricated building is regarded as the breakthrough to promote the industrial transformation and upgrading,then it becomes a construction pattern vigorously advised by the Chinese government.However,as prefabricated building is still an emerging construction pattern in China,there is a serious shortage of engineers with relevant background knowledge and management experience,which greatly hinders this pattern to carry out.Moreover,it requires more technical support than cast-in-situ construction,there are few suppliers in the market with complete technical systems and able to provide full solution package.In addition,there is no systematic or scientific decision-making method on how to design or choose or evaluate a precast construction plan,which greatly restricts the application and promotion of prefabricated buildings all over the nation.Aiming to solve those problems,from the perspective of decision-making management at the early stage of prefabricated building’s construction,this paper proposes to use case-based reasoning(CBR)to help relevant decision makers how to make tactic decision,so as to provide a new tool for decision making,and standardizes the decision-making process.Firstly,to ensure a comprehensive understanding of characteristics of the research object and method in this paper is observed,an in-depth analysis on prefabricated building,decision making,CBR and other related theories are implemented.Expounds the necessity of introducing CBR into decision making in precast construction,and constructs a decision making model framework based on CBR,which elaborates CBR’s decision supporting path and method in general problem and precast problem’s decision makings.Then,through literature review,the influencing factors of precast decisions are systematically sorted out,and these factors are summarized into four dimensions such as government management and policy,construction project characteristics,owners’ cognition and requirements and organization & market environment.All of the influencing factors are quantitatively analyzed under the help of expert opinions.According to the analysis results of influencing factors,relevant information of prefabricated building is compiled to form structured knowledge,that is,case representation,which is the basis for establishing decision-making model based on CBR.The algorithms of the CBR model are compared and analyzed in detail,and the rules of these algorithms are clearly defined.Finally,in order to demonstrate how the model works and to verify the effectiveness of the model,a total of 44 prefabricated building cases were collected,and a CBR database is initially established.Four out of the database are selected as target cases for example verification.The preliminary results show that the model proposed in this paper can provide corresponding support for the decision making on how to delivery precast construction,also it would be helpful for bringing other reasonable advices for all the stages of prefabricated building construction. |
