Resilience is an important index to evaluate whether a system can maintain or recover quickly after being disturbed. With the development of society, higher requirements have been put forward for the seismic design of some important buildings in cities, especially medical buildings. As the emergency medical rescue center after an earthquake in cities,it is necessary to keep the building function uninterrupted.Medical buildings designed in accordance with the current code can generally meet the requirements of collapse resistance. The loss usually comes from non-structural components, thus resulting in the loss of building functions. In addition, the concept of extremely rare earthquakes also puts forward new requirements for seismic design. Therefore, this paper takes medical buildings as the research object, and according to the seismic resilience evaluation method of FEMA p-58 buildings, studies the resiliently seismic performance of RC frames with different key seismic fortification categories under different earthquake intensities. The main research contents are as follows:1)The resilience evaluation method of FEMA p-58 is systematically introduced. This method adopts performance indicators that are easier for owners and house users to understand, and performance calculation using the monte carlo method to simulate building earthquake damage that may occur,is a full probability method.2)Four RC frame structures with different fortification intensities are designed according to China’s specifications.Numerical modeling and model verification are carried out in Open SEEs,and Pushover analysis based on capability spectrum is carried out respectively. The results show that the RC frame with critical fortification has good collapse resistance, and only the frame with 9 degrees of fortification is close to collapse under extremely rare earthquakes.3)IDA analysis was carried out on the four frames using the dual-frequency control wave selection method to calculate the vulnerability of different performance states. The results show that: for the maximum inter-layer displacement Angle, the Pushover analysis results based on the capability spectrum method are more conservative than the IDA analysis results, which are about 15~20% larger.Under the action of extremely rare earthquake, the probability of collapse of the frame of 6 degrees of key fortification is 1%,7 degrees is 2.82%,8 degrees is 42.31% and 9 degrees is 43.45%.4)Based on the FEMA p-58 seismic resilience evaluation method, the seismic performance of resilience under different earthquake intensities was evaluated. The results show that the resiliently seismic performance of each frame is different, and the higher the intensity of fortification, the greater the earthquake loss under the action of earthquakes of corresponding intensity.Frame medical buildings of key seismic fortification with 6 degrees of fortification can basically meet the requirements of ductile earthquake resistance, while frame medical buildings of key seismic fortification with 7,8 and 9 degrees of fortification cannot meet the requirements of ductile earthquake resistance,so other seismic measures should be taken.
