| The green space has various functions such as regulating the urban climate and providing residents with recreational viewing.It is an important public space that reflects the quality of urban living environment.In the context of an aging society,open green space,as a common leisure and exercise space for the elderly,can also help prevent elderly disease,reduce public health expenditures,slow down the elderly’s living pressure,and eliminate social exclusion.However,socio-economic,demographic,and geographic have challenged access to the same green space resources for different populations.The ability of the elderly to acquire green space resources is hindered by both their own and environmental factors.Therefore,for urban planners and decision makers,it is important to find a suitable geographical location in urban space,provide specific types of green space,and improve the ability of urban green space to provide and serve the elderly.In order to analyze the green space accessibility and fairness of the elderly in mountain cities,this paper first reviews the existing relevant literature on green space accessibility,fairness,and spatial accessibility for the elderly,and studies the accessibility.Methods and theories are summarized.Then,based on the topographic characteristics of mountainous urban roads,and using the most commonly used walking method for the elderly,the geographic information system(GIS)was used to analyze the green space accessibility of the old urban parks in the eastern part of Shapingba in Chongqing through Network Analysis.The green space area location entropy and the per capita green space service area location entropy were used to evaluate whether the green space resources of the old urban park in the east of Shapingba match the needs of the elderly population,and finally reached the following conclusions:(1)After analyzing the Network Analysis module in GIS,divide the service area of the green space in the old urban park in the eastern part of Shapingba into five minutes,10mins,20 mins,30 mins,and 60 mins.The arrival area is 1.16km~2,1.179km~2,1.678km~2,1.542km~2,7.03km~2,which respectively account for 2.6%,2.6%,3.7%,3.4%,15.9%of the total area;the total cumulative service area for walking is 12.589km~2,accounting for 28%of the total area.In general,the park green space in the study area is extremely unevenly distributed.The park green space in Yubei Road,Tongjiaqiao,and Lianfang streets has the best accessibility,while the green space in the parks in Qinjiagang,Tianxingqiao,and Xinqiao streets is less distributed.Far from other parks and green areas,the worst accessibility.(2)The calculation results of location entropy show that the distribution of green space resources in the old urban area in the east of Shapingba is poorly matched with the distribution of the elderly population.Tongjiaqiao Street,Shapingba Street,Shijingpo Street,and Qinjiagang Street have higher per capita green area entropy(>2),and Tianxingqiao Street,Xiaolongkan Street,Ciqikou,and Tuwan Street have lower per capita green area entropy(<1),Xinqiao Street has 0 ownership;Tongjiaqiao Street,Qinjiagang Street,Lianfang and other per capita park green space service areas have higher entropy(>2);Ciqikou Street and Tianxingqiao Street per capita park green space service area has a higher entropy.(<1),the location entropy of Xinqiao Street is 0.(3)Based on comprehensive network analysis and location entropy analysis,it can be judged that there is an unreasonable and unfair phenomenon in the spatial distribution and resource matching of the park green space in the eastern part of Shapingba.In order to meet the needs of the greenery of the wider public,including the elderly,the construction of green spaces in small and medium-sized parks should be emphasized within the region,and pedestrian roads should be added and improved.The needs of different people should be fully considered in the park green space planning to form high-quality urban parks and green space system. |
