The energy problem and the global warming problem are becoming more and more serious.As a pillar industry,the automobile industry needs to play an exemplary role in solving the problem.Pure electric vehicles have undoubtedly broad prospects,but it is difficult to promote in the market due to factors such as battery technology.Therefore,for automobile manufacturers,plug-in hybrid electric vehicles(PHEV)have become the optimal solution for energy and environmental problems.PHEV can supplement electric energy through the power grid.When the electric energy is exhausted,it can continue to use fuel.Therefore,PHEV has two major advantages of low emissions and long-distance driving range.Energy management strategies determine the use of energy based on road conditions,so energy management strategies directly affect vehicle fuel economy.This paper studies the application of PHEV with dual-motor structure from vehicle system modeling to the application of energy management strategies.The details are as follows:By analyzing the structure type of the PHEV vehicle,the configuration of the PHEV that meets the design requirements is formulated.At the same time,the parameters of the engine,power battery and motor are matched,and the dynamic model of the vehicle is built on the MATLAB/Simulink platform based on the experimental data.The characteristics and principles of the working modes of the vehicle’s parallel drive mode,series drive mode,pure electric drive mode and parking charging mode are analyzed,and the switching scheme between the vehicle’s working modes is proposed.On the basis of the dynamic planning energy management strategy model and the principle of adapting to the application of the PHEV type,the model is further improved.By analyzing the principle and solution process of the equivalent fuel consumption minimum(ECMS)control strategy,the ECMS energy management strategy model is established and improved,and the power and economy of the vehicle are simulated and verified.Under WLTC operating conditions,with fuel consumption as the target,the instantaneous optimized energy management strategy(ECMS)and the global optimized energy management strategy were simulated respectively.The simulation results show that the dynamic programming control strategy has 16.03% higher fuel economy than the ECMS control strategy.According to the design requirements,the minimum system circuit,current drive circuit and digital signal circuit are designed around the main vehicle control chip MPC5634 M.Determine the communication structure by analyzing the characteristics of various communication structures.According to the CAN bus communication protocol standard,the vehicle communication protocol was formulated.
