| The adaptive design of headset products requires accurate head and face size data as a design reference to match the complex and changing human head and face morphology.Therefore,objectively recording anthropometric data of body shape is of great significance to product design.In recent years,China’s head and face wearable products have huge market potential.However,the reference size of headset product design is obtained from few sources,and it is mostly derived from anthropometric research aimed at the Western population,making existing products unable to match Chinese head and face characteristics.A headset product design reference size acquisition system based on the latest Chinese head and face measurement research can establish a good connection between product design and time-sensitive anthropometric research results,and intuitively reflect the important role of anthropometry and human factors engineering in the era of intelligent products.This project is originated from the Hunan teaching reform research project“industrial design teaching research and reform based on contemporary Chinese anthropometric head data".In order to give full play to the role of size data in the design of head-mounted products and help designers to obtain more accurate facial shape data of Chinese heads,the project designed an auxiliary system to provide data support for head-mounted product design based on the anthropometry data of Chinese people obtained from previous research.The design of the system firstly excavates the product designer’s requirements for human body size during the design process through questionnaire surveys and user interviews.At the same time,we analyze similar products that provide design size references to determine the user’s needs for design reference size data types and presentation methods in wearable product design work.After that,based on the acquired anthropometric sample data,the project determined the calculation method of univariate percentile data and the generation of representative head models,and technically verified the achievability of the reference size generation method required by the user.Finally,based on the product positioning and function module,the interactive design and visual design process are gradually completed,and a headset product design assistant system based on anthropometric data is constructed.The innovation point of this paper is to create an online system to obtain the reference size for the headset design,so as to provide scientific,accurate and multidimensional data support for head-mounted product design.And another innovation point is to propose a customized scheme of three-dimensional human head and face data,and fully consider the product designer’s knowledge background and the possible knowledge barriers in anthropometrics,mathematical statistics and other disciplines.The system reduces the learning cost of users to the greatest extent through friendly interface design,and provides designers with scientific,efficient,easy to use and easy to understand head and face size acquisition channels. |
