| Nowadays,technological innovation has increasingly become a essential factor affecting the competitiveness of enterprises and industries,especially for emerging strategic industries such as new energy industry.Due to its genericality and externalities,generic technology has become increasingly important for the overal l development of the industry.In order to promote the development of generic industrial technologies and cultivate technological advantages,China has formulated a series of support policies.This article uses this as a pointcut to study the impact of government subsidies on generic technological innovation in the photovoltaic industry.At first,the thesis analyzes the factors restricting the development of generic technology innovation and the ways in which government subsidies affect generic technology innovation.Government subsidies reduce the R&D costs of enterprises,The signal effect of subsidies makes it easier for enterprises to obtain external resources.Government subsidies also provide institutional incentives for enterprises’ technological innovation,which urges enterprises to continue to strengthen R&D investment and increase their innovation output in the field of generic technology.Immediately followed by the methods of co-occurrence analysis and centrality analysis to measure the generic technology of the photovoltaic industry,briefly analyzed the current status of generic technology innovation in China’s photovoltaic industry from 2009 to 2017,and combed the subsidy policy changes and subsidy data of China’s photovoltaic industry feature.Then select two typical enterprises in the photovoltaic industry for detailed case analysis.Finally,the empirical analysis is carried out with the data of 53 listed companies whose main business is in the field of photovoltaics from 2009 to 2017.The first step is to empirically study whether government subsidies have a significant impact on the generic technological innovation of the photovoltaic industry.The second step is to introduce the interactive items of government subsidies and enterprise R&D investment intensity,to empirically test the impact mechanism of government subsidies,and finally replace innovation output with innovation efficiency as the dependent variable is used to test the robustness of the model.The regression results show that government subsidies have a significant positive synergistic effect on the improvement of enterprises’ innovation level in the field of generic technologies,and the government subsidies that lag one period are more effective than the current government s ubsidies.At the same time,the increase in the intensity of enterprise R&D investment has significantly promoted the impact of government subsidies on innovation output.The main conclusions of this paper include: government subsidies can promote the improvement of the generic technological innovation level of the photovoltaic industry,including the increase of innovation output and the improvement of innovation efficiency;the impact mechanism of government subsidies is to increase the intensity of enterprise R&D investment,thereby increasing the company’ s innovation output in the field of generic technology;the impact of government subsidies on generic technology innovation has a time lag effect.At the end of the paper,according to the conclusions,t hree policy recommendations are proposed on how to promote the generic technological innovation in China. |
