With the vigorous development of China’s social economy,the cultural industry has ushered in new changes,a large number of cultural buildings have been built,and culture has become an important driving force for economic development;at the same time,consumption is also facing transformation and upgrading,and people are shifting from material consumption to higher The level of cultural consumption,the pursuit of spiritual satisfaction,in this context,the museum has become an important cultural consumption place with its own advantages.It has made some new attempts to adapt to the changes of the times,but it has been influenced by traditional management concepts and designed Inertial thinking,the design focus and focus of the museum are still in the exhibition space,and the event space can only exist as a subsidiary space of the museum.The influence of cultural consumption has led to an increase in the number of museum visitors.The purpose of visitors to the museum is more diverse,not only to appreciate the exhibits,but also to spend time and energy for cultural consumption and event experience,non-exhibition function activity space has become an important part of the museum Due to the influence of cultural consumption,the function and management concept of the museum have undergone a major change.The non-exhibition function space of the museum has undertaken functions such as cultural publicity and social interaction.However,the design of the museum in China has ignored the importance of the non-exhibition function activity space.As a result,the audience’s cultural consumption and activity experience in the museum are not good,so the emphasis on the non-exhibition function space of the museum has become an urgent problem to be solved.The research content of this article is mainly divided into three parts.First,it explains the related terminology concepts of museum non-exhibition function activity space from the perspective of cultural consumption,and analyzes and summarizes the various theories involved.Secondly,it combs the origin and development of museums,researches and analyzes the current status of museum activity spaces,summarizes and summarizes the problems existing in non-exhibition activity spaces of museums in China,and then defines the scope of the article to be studied,and defines non-exhibition functional activities The space is classified,supplemented by cases for extended analysis,and the cultural advantages of the museum are deeply explored in the context of cultural consumption,and the design concept of the museum’s non-exhibition function activity space is summarized.Finally,design research is carried out from the cultural function of the museum and the importance of the cultural place as a characteristic of the non-exhibition event space,and an adaptive design strategy is proposed;at the same time,the experience characteristics emphasized by cultural consumption are also respected,and the non-exhibition function of the museum occurs from different angles The experience type and influencing factors of the event space are studied,and the corresponding design strategies are proposed.Finally,the compensatory design research of the non-exhibition function event space of the museum is analyzed from the three levels of city,museum and audience.This article makes a preliminary discussion on the design of the non-exhibition function space of the museum,in order to draw people’s attention to the non-exhibition function space of the museum.
