| The generator excitation system has bean an important part of the synchronous generating set.The technical performance of the system will directly impact the safety and reliable operation of the electricity generator and the power system.Good excitation system can improve power grid stability and operation key technical economy performance indicators,and it can also ensure the stable and safe operation of generator and power system.In this paper,the development trend of generator excitation system is analyzed firstly,then the basic principle of excitation regulation and the classification of excitation system are analyzed And take the excitation system of the generator of Mantangxi Water Conservancy and Hydropower Co.,Ltd.(Mantangxi Hydropower Station)as an example,the excitation system of the generator is analyzed in detail.The self-shunt excitation mode is adopted in the system.The test results show that the system basically meets the operation requirements Because the excitation system has been running for 20 years,there are many problems such as the aging of electronic components,the difficulty of the replacement of individual electronic components and the failure in the operation,and the necessity of the transformation of the excitation system is put forward.Through the comparison and selection of excitation parameters of domestic excitation manufacturers and the selection of equipment,the performance of the equipment determined by the transformation scheme is tested by using the simulation platform to set up the power system simulation environment,and the relevant tests are carried out according to the regulations of the reformed equipment.The excitation system before and after the transformation is compared,and the advantages and achievements of the reformed excitation system are analyzed.It is concluded that the performance of the reformed excitation system is much higher than that of the original old system,and the expected results have been obtained.The transformation of excitation system has achieved the desired purpose of transformation.After the transformation,the equipment is stable,easy to maintain,and simple to operate.At the same time,it greatly improves the stability of the safe operation of the hydropower station.It is worth learning and promoting in the same type of hydropower station. |
