Integrated Research On Risk Management Of Foreign Exchange Funds Of Air Transport Enterprises

Risk is a word that is difficult to avoid in economic and social activities,and foreign exchange risk management is a complex,emerging and increasingly important area of business management.With the pace of economic globalization and the rapid development of international trade and international capital flows in both directions,the internationalized operating model of air transport companies and higher internal debt ratios have made their responses to foreign exchange risks more sensitive.In the context of the reform of the exchange rate system,Chinese airlines have generally suffered large foreign exchange losses,and the issue of airline foreign exchange risk management has gradually attracted attention.As one of the major domestic air transportation companies,NH Aviation Group Co.,Ltd.suffered exchange losses of5.7 billion Yuan in 2015,and its foreign exchange risk management issues caused concern.The level and effectiveness of foreign exchange risk management of an enterprise are not only related to the fate of the enterprise itself,but also affect the development of the industry to which it belongs,and even cause overall economic uncertainty.For the current complex and changing international financial environment,it is necessary for companies to manage foreign exchange risk facing their funds.This paper selects the backbone company NH Group in the air transport company as the research object,and focuses on foreign exchange risk management strategies and methods.It summarizes the research perspectives on foreign exchange risk management and foreign exchange risk management measures.The classification of foreign exchange risk research in this paper is defined,including exchange rate risk,interest rate risk,and jet fuel price fluctuation risk.This article first introduces the operating business of the case company and analyzes the capital operation characteristics of the air transport company represented by the NH Group.Through these business and capital characteristics,it analyzes the foreign exchange risk exposure of the case company,and then analyzes the group company’s exposure to foreign exchange Risk management activities and analysis of the results achieved;An analysis of the current improvement of foreign exchange risk management of case companies,and the corresponding optimization recommendations,which are relevant to other companies in the aviation industry and enterprises in other industries that involve capital foreign exchange activities.We will better carry out corresponding foreign exchange risk management activities,improve the level and efficiency of fund management,and finally form conclusive conclusions to put forward existing problems and suggestions for improvement.This article hopes that the research can provide some reference for air transportation enterprises to strengthen foreign exchange risk management level,and provide ideas for other enterprises in the industry to strengthen foreign exchange risk management.
