The concept of lean production is more and more highly recognized in the automobile and the parts industry.The core idea is to eliminate all wastes completely in the various production processes and other business activities of the enterprise.Based on the Lean Production theory and related tools,this paper conducts qualitative and quantitative research on the problems in the daily lean production of BW turbocharger plant.Based on the problems,BW company decided to carry out a systematic improvement of lean production activities,first of all,established a lean production model,set up an organizational structure,incentives and training mechanisms.Then during the implementation,making use of the “Value Stream” theory,this paper mainly introduced how to optimize the layout of the production line,logistics path and mode,MES,JIT.Through the basic system optimization,to realize JIT,find and reduce all the possible wastes through the pull system.Finally,through the phase results of implementation,summarizes and analyzes the success and shortcomings of lean production activities in BW,puts forward the direction of long-term improvement,and looks forward to the future development of lean production.From the process,method and result data of BW lean production activities,the development of lean production is very effective to improve the operation of enterprises,but it needs to be analyzed systematically,to improve the from all aspects,and establish a system to encourage employees to participate in and continue learning,and then form a long-term corporate lean culture.
