In The Protection Of Historical Buildings In Guangzhou Existing Problems And Countermeasures

The historical building is the "live memory" of urban culture,and it is the cultural gene that radiates new vitality in Guangzhou as an old city and the cultural soil that nourishes new business forms.As one of the first batch of pilot cities for the protection and utilization of historical buildings,there are 6 batches of 817 historical buildings in the city.It is necessary to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech and important instructions to Guangdong,use "embroidery" to promote high-quality urban development,effectively protect the city’s historical and cultural relics,and continue the city’s historical context.In order to clarify the government’s responsibility in the protection of historical buildings,the author understands through investigation and analyzes the implementation status of government responsibilities in the protection and utilization of historical buildings in Guangzhou,and finds that there is poor cooperation between government departments and the repair of private property historical buildings Difficulties in raising funds,lagging in the activation of public buildings and historic buildings,the risk of protection and repair of historical buildings,the need for public participation to be strengthened,and the insufficient depth of cultural excavation of historical buildings Three pairs of contradictory measures of social,economic benefits and the inheritance of traditional culture,as well as the path to put the responsibility of the historical construction protection and utilization of Guangzhou Municipal Government in place.The author believes that for the protection and utilization of historical buildings in Guangzhou,the government needs to implement the following points: first,establish a synergy mechanism and strengthen departmental cooperation;secondly,encourage the broad participation of multiple subjects;again,provide financial support and guarantees;and finally Tap the cultural essence of historical buildings.
