Research On The Protection And Utilization Of Historical Buildings In Xi’an Jiaotong University

In the regulations on the protection of historical and cultural cities,towns and villages published in April 2008,it is required to take corresponding measures for the buildings that need to be protected.As the first batch of national historical and cultural cities,Xi’an also took the protection of historical and cultural cities as an important special project in the preparation and approval of the fourth round of urban master plan in 2008.Today,it is urgent to protect historical buildings.In October 2019,the proposed list of historical buildings was published in the protection plan of Xi’an historical and cultural city(Draft),including Qian Xuesen library and Tian Jiabing art building of Xi’an Jiaotong University.At the same time,there are two potential historical buildings in the campus,namely,the engineering workshop area B and the xiqian Memorial Hall.Under this realistic background,combined with the construction process of Xi’an Jiaotong University,this paper focuses on the analysis of the status quo,characteristics and value of historical buildings and potential historical buildings proposed to be protected in Xingqing campus,and studies the protection and utilization of historical buildings in campusThis paper studies the protection and utilization of Qian Xuesen library,Tian Jiabing art building,engineering square area B and xiqian Memorial Hall in Xingqing campus of Xi’an Jiaotong University.Through the investigation and collation of relevant architectural information,this paper analyzes how the internal space and external environment of historical buildings adapt to the new needs in the new form,and explores the continuation of the facade style,architectural design and design of historical buildings Activation and utilization of structural components and other architectural elements,as well as space reconstruction,function transformation,performance upgrading of the appropriate way.This paper summarizes the problems faced by the historical buildings of Xi’an Jiaotong University in the process of utilization,seeks a way of combining protection and renewal,so as to better realize the adaptive utilization of historical buildings,and finally provides a reference for the utilization practice of more historical buildings.The structure of the paper is divided into three parts:The first part mainly discusses the origin,significance and general situation of Xi’an Jiaotong University.Based on the current situation of the protection of historical buildings in Xi’an,this paper investigates the distribution of historical buildings in Xi’an universities,explores the use function of existing historical buildings,the repair and expansion of buildings in Xi’an universities,and on this basis,combs the construction process of Xingqing campus of Xi’an Jiaotong University,explores the important position of Xi’an Jiaotong University’s westward migration and the spirit of westward migration in the school The relationship between campus construction and urban construction,and the distribution of campuses of Xi’an Jiaotong University in the main urban area.Further study the environmental composition of Xingqing campus of Xi’an Jiaotong University.The second part is the main part of this paper,through the investigation and study of the protection and utilization status of the two proposed historic buildings in Xi’an Jiaotong University campus,namely Qian Xuesen library and Tian Jiabing art building,as well as the other two potential historic buildings,area B of Engineering square and the xiqian Memorial Hall,to establish the relevant building basic information,and carry out on-site investigation and drawing at the same time;This paper combs different types of historical buildings in the campus from the aspects of the integration of new and old space,space reconstruction and function transformation,analyzes the protection and Utilization Strategies of existing historical buildings in Xi’an Jiaotong University,re recognizes the value of buildings,determines key protection elements,and discusses the protection and utilization methods of buildings,And other related successful cases are analyzed.Through the cognition of the characteristics of historical buildings in Xi’an Jiaotong University and the induction and analysis of the protection value,this paper discusses the utilization strategies and methods of historical buildings in Colleges and Universities under the dynamic concept.Finally,the paper concludes the protection situation of historical buildings in Xi’an Jiaotong University,and finds out the appropriate utilization methods,so as to provide some reference for the future protection and utilization practice.For the historical buildings in Colleges and universities,it is necessary to make proper use of them on the basis of maintaining the appearance characteristics of historical buildings according to the dynamic nature of protection.
