Electricity Market Comparison Between Different Countries And The Enlightenment For Tajikistan

The independence and competitiveness of modern States on the world level are strengthened under the influence of many different factors,among which the development of the electricity market has become increasingly important in recent years.One of the main reasons is the increasing demand of electricity in the world which makes it necessary to increase the generation capacity of the power plants.Tajikistan is one of the regional and global leaders in hydropower potential,but its electricity market has growing concern to facilitate and charge their consumers with accurate electricity pricing.In order to cope with the electricity market concerns regarding charging customers for their electricity use,the Republic of Tajikistan needs to develop the electricity market with great perseverance.The working hypothesis of this research study is based on the principles of market analysis of the development of energy services in the conditions of market relations and energy deficit.It is assumed that the optimal formation and development of a new model of the electricity market has a direct impact on the qualitative changes in the content and structure of the welfare of the population in the economy of the Republic of Tajikistan,requiring improvement of the state energy policy in the development of the electricity market.To meet the supply and demand of consumers while charging them for use of electricity in an efficient way,this study proposes the pricing calculation mechanism in Tajikistan on the basis of real and reactive power calculation and allocation.The study considers the pricing of generation and transmission while calculating reactive power.The research study applied Sequential quadratic programming technique in MATLAB using IEEE-14 bus system for calculation and minimizing the losses as a result to decrease the pricing of generation and transmission in the region of Tajikistan.The study also discusses the methodological problems of electricity tariffs and attraction of investments for realization of the state programs.Through comparison of different mature electricity market structure among some countries,it has been found that effective management and implementing advance energy policies are important.Hence,it is concluded that in Tajikistan it is necessary to create a more advanced model of the electricity market,for to develop and meet the country’s needs for electricity.
