With the advancement of China’s economic transformation and upgrading,the degree of market competition has become increasingly fierce.How to gain a place in the market and achieve rapid development has become one of the issues that many corporate managers are particularly concerned about.If existing enterprises want to improve their own competitiveness and promote sustainable development of enterprises,it is essential to implement effective human resource management.According to the evaluation results,employees are encouraged and guided to further realize the development of the company.This paper selects Shandong Hongkang Machinery Manufacturing Co.,Ltd.as the research object,and conducts in-depth research on the performance appraisal of grassroots employees through interviews,questionnaires and relevant materials.Through the research on its performance appraisal system,it analyzes the problems existing in the company’s existing performance appraisal system,and proposes corresponding management countermeasures for a series of problems.Through analysis,the main problems of the company’s existing performance appraisal system are:performance appraisal lacks the company’s strategic goal orientation;assessment indicators are unreasonable;performance appraisal communication and feedback are not smooth;performance appraisal goals are not clear;performance appraisal incentive mechanism imperfect.The existence of these problems has restricted the development of the company to some extent.Based on the theoretical basis of performance appraisal and the balanced scorecard as a tool,combined with the performance appraisal status of Shandong Hongkang Machinery Manufacturing Co.,Ltd.,this paper analyzes the problems of the company’s performance appraisal objectively and comprehensively,and establishes a complete set.The performance evaluation index system of the company’s operation and development,and put forward the implementation plan of performance appraisal,design the performance appraisal process that is compatible with the company’s current situation and objectives.In addition,in view of the designed performance appraisal system,a series of safeguard measures to ensure the smooth performance of performance appraisal are proposed,in order to improve the performance appraisal status of the company’s employees,which will further benefit the company’s overall goals and long-term development strategy.
