Comparison Of Conservation And Renewal Strategies Of Modern Residential Historic Areas Between China And Germany

This thesis mainly analyzed the protection and renewal of strategies of the six Housing Estates in Berlin Modern Style who is as a world cultural heritage,then base on the current situation of protection and renewal in modern residential historic areas in China to make a comparative analysis.According to the comparative analysis,the thesis will put some suggestions to improve the protection and renewal strategies of modern residential historic districts in China.The six Housing Estates in Berlin Modern Style and the Fourth Housing Estates of Cotton Textile Mill in Xi’an are taken as the study objects.Investigate and study the protection situations,protection measures,development planning,management and supervision mechanism and the legal basis of monumental heritage for Housing Estates in Berlin Modern Style and the Fourth Housing Estates of Cotton Textile Mill in Xi’an.Summarizing the protection measures in historic residential areas,and comparing the legal system and organizational management system of monumental heritage.Combined with the current situation of social development to analyze the differences in the operation mechanism of morden historic residential areas and the reasons of the differences,then putting forward the suggestions for operation mechanism of the protection and management system of historic residential areas represented by the Fourth Housing Estates of Cotton Textile Mill in Xi’an during the First Five-Year Plan period in China,and proposing the direction of improvement for the legal basis related to monumental heritage in China.The thesis includes three parts,and the main framwork is divided into six chapters.Firstly,the basic situation as well as protection and renewal measures of Housing Estates in Berlin Modern Style were investigated,sorted out and summarized,and the thesis analyzed the rationality of protection and renewal strategies as well as the reasons for the effective implementation of protection measures about the Housing Estates in Berlin Modern Style.Then,compare the legal basis of monumental heritage in Xi ’an between Berlin on this basis.The differences between the implementation of the protection and renewal strategy of Housing Estates in Berlin Modern Style and the modern historic residential areas in China are deeply studied in the thesis,Including historic residential protection management plan,monitoring and monitoring system and monumental heritage legal basis.The comparison focuses on three key elements in the protection of Chinese and German historic residential areas: protection and restoration technology,monumental heritage protection management plan as well as protection monitoring system.The thesis analyzes the key influencing factors of the difference for protection and renewal between Chinese and German historic residential areas.Finally,based on the current situation of the Fourth Housing Estates of Cotton Textile Mill in Xi’an,this thesis puts forward the strategy formulation and implementation suggestions for the protection and renewal of historic residential areas in China.Because in theory and reality meanings the Fourth Housing Estates of Cotton Textile Mill in Xi’an did not take worthy protection renewal measures,therefore a complete monumental heritage protection management plan and protection monitoring system have not been formed in this residence.This part of the thesis is the experience reference of the relevant measures for the Housing Estates in Berlin Modern Style.Comparative analysis and experience reference based on the successful cases will be more operable for the protection of modern historic residential areas in China.
