Research On The Design Of Village Historical Hall Display Space Based On Collective Memory

As one of the carriers of rural collective memory,village history museum bears witness to rural history,bears the memory of rural natural,material environment and villagers’ life style,and has become an important reference for villagers to identify and spiritual belonging.This paper first introduces the theory of collective memory as the key to the interpretation of rural memory,summarizes its six characteristics of collectivity,continuity,construction,frame,regionalism and selectivity,and clarifies the cognitive path of collective memory.Then,based on the theory of collective memory,this paper puts forward five design processes,including the preliminary resource survey,the establishment of keyword system cluster analysis table,the extraction of design materials,the selection of design strategies,and the implementation of design results.According to the requirements of Zhan Chen space design is summarized based on the collective memory of the village historiographers Zhan Chen space design principles and six design strategy,the design principle is: the real and the principle of reproducibility,affective principle,continuity principle,the principle of diversity and difference,six design strategies are:(1)based on cultural memory clues Zhan Chen narrative logic construct;(2)the construction of narrative logic with individual memory as the clue;(3)the natural construction of exhibition space;(4)display form of artificial environment combination;(5)the application of traditional materials in the exhibition space;(6)The resumption of the traditional skills of exhibition space.Finally,the theory of collective memory and the spatial design strategy of the village history hall are applied to the design practice of the exhibition design of the village history hall of Daxie Village in Zhengzhou High-Tech Zone,in the hope of taking the exhibition design of the village history hall as the focal point to awaken the common rural memory of the villagers and continue the local context and value.In this paper,the theory of collective memory and the development of the village history museum are closely combined,based on oral history research,field research and other research methods,quantitative and qualitative,subjective and objective combination,the village history museum exhibition space design logic and methods based on the theory of rural collective memory.Starting from awakening villagers’ collective memory and reshaping their value identity,combined with the design practice cases of special types of village history halls under the transformation of "village into residence" in urban villages,this paper provides an effective basis for the research on the exhibition space design of village history halls.
