Non-contact temperature measurement is usually used in the field of high temperature.Photoelectric pyrometer is a precise non-contact temperature measuring instrument,which is usually used to transfer temperature scale in the experiment.It is based on the ITS-90 international temperature scale to transmit temperatures above the silver fixing point,which represents the national temperature measurement level.This paper focuses on the study of photoelectric pyrometer.Firstly,based on thermal radiation,this paper explains the emission law of energy,black body and the definition of physical quantity of thermal radiation with the help of Planck’s law and Wien’s displacement law,etc.,and analyzes the relationship between wavelength and temperature through these thermal radiation laws.According to the principle of radiation temperature measurement,the composition of the photoelectric pyrometer is divided into various modules,and the working principle,design process and functions of each part are introduced respectively.The optical system module is used to receive the energy of the black body radiation source.The photoelectric conversion function is realized by the photoelectric detector module.The micro current amplifier module solves the problem that the actual current is too small and easy to be submerged by noise and amplifies the current.Lab VIEW data acquisition module is used to collect experimental data for post-processing.Secondly,the performance of the designed photoelectric pyrometer is tested to ensure that each part of its indicators can meet the standard range,to ensure good temperature reproducibility.The performance test mainly includes the measurement method and result of spectral responsiveness of photoelectric detector,the measurement method and result of microcurrent amplifier gain,the measurement of size effect and distance effect of photoelectric pyrometer,etc.Finally,the photoelectric pyrometer is applied to the transfer of temperature scale.The calibration of temperature mainly takes three forms: the calibration of tungsten strip lamp,the calibration of metal fixed point and the calibration of TG furnace to determine the uncertainty of temperature.The temperature measurement range of the photoelectric pyrometer in this paper is between 600 ~ 2200℃.The performance shows that it has the characteristics of high response speed,good stability and high accuracy.The experimental results show that the temperature uncertainty in the range of 0.4 ~ 1.7℃ meets the high temperature reproduction standard.
