| The interlayer material of asphalt pavement is also one of the key factors affecting the mechanical state of pavement structure. The poor interlayer bonding will lead to the damage of the whole pavement structure, resulting in cutting-slippage and upheaval, and may also lead to the infiltration of rain water which will cause the pavement water damage. At present, the Goodman model’s interlaminar shear response modulus K is mainly used to evaluate the interlaminar bond state at home and abroad. However, this static model is difficult to reflect the actual situation of pavement under dynamic load accurately. Therefore,in this paper, the traditional emulsified asphalt is modified to develop high-performance coat and tack coat materials. Moreover, the new materials’ mechanical properties and interlayer dynamic shear response modulus is studied.Ultimately, this paper hopes that the pavement structural response can be analyzed more accurately and new materials will be provided for the pavement maintenance and design. The main contents are as follows:(1)The traditional emulsified asphalt is modified by adding diluent and penetrating agent in different mix ratio, and the modified emulsified asphalt was tested by titration diffusion on filter paper, fluorescence microscope analysis, and drawing on stone plate.Combined with the analysis of the experimental results, two kinds of high-permeability emulsified asphalt were obtained.Taking ordinary emulsified asphalt as the control, through a series of tests, such as the penetration test on the semi-rigid base, interlayer pull test, interlayer shear test, water seepage test, etc.,to analyze the material’s permeability performance, bonding performance and waterproof performance, and recommend the permeable layer material with the best performance.(2)The traditional emulsified asphalt is modified by mixing composite latex to develop high-viscosity emulsified asphalt. After that, fluorescence microscope microscopic analysis, interlayer pull-out test, interlayer shear test and water seepage test are carried out on the high-viscosity emulsified.Besides, through the experiments, the influence of temperature, interlayer interface contamination state and material type on interlayer shear strength is analyzed. The results show that the high viscosity emulsified asphalt has better bonding performance and waterproof performance than the ordinary emulsified asphalt.(3)By carrying out dynamic shear test, the interlaminar shear modulus value of different prime coat and tack coat materials are obtained. At the same time, the effects of temperature, state of interlaminar interface and material type on interlaminar shear strength are analyzed by the test.It is further verified that the pavement structure with the new permeable and sticky layer material has better interlayer bonding effect. |
