A Study On Operating Efficiency Of Listed Construction Enterprises Based On DEA-Tobit Method

The construction industry is the pillar industry of the national economy.The 21 st century is the key period for the growth and system reform of the construction industry in China,and it has broad prospects for development.The construction industry has the characteristics of fluidity,single production,long production cycle and intensive personnel.The complex construction project management puts forward important requirements for the operation ability of construction enterprises.Evaluation of operation efficiency of construction enterprises is an important means to investigate the operation ability of construction enterprises,and is the key to find out the existing operation problems of construction enterprises and improve the operation ability of construction enterprises.In this paper,the existing literature is summarized,the existing evaluation methods are compared,and the evaluation indexes in the relevant literature are analyzed to determine the principles,methods and indicators for the evaluation of the operating efficiency of construction enterprises.The evaluation objects of operating efficiency of construction enterprises are determined.According to the obtained data,38 listed construction enterprises in China are taken as the research objects,and DEA-Tobit model is used to analyze the evaluation objects.First,the static operating efficiency of each listed construction company in2019 is evaluated,and the static operating efficiency of each listed construction company in2019 is evaluated.Then,this paper evaluates the dynamic operating efficiency of each listed construction enterprise from 2010 to 2019,and evaluates the dynamic operating efficiency of various listed construction enterprises.Then,the Tobit regression model is used to make a regression analysis on the operating efficiency of 38 listed construction companies,and the correlation between the operating efficiency of listed construction companies and various influencing factors is found out.Finally,according to the results of DEA evaluation and Tobit regression analysis,the evaluation conclusion of listed construction enterprises’ operating efficiency is drawn,and according to the conclusion,relevant suggestions for improving the operating efficiency of listed construction enterprises are given.
