With the increasing development of technology and economy,the requirements for power supply and power quality in industries,medical,military and other fields have greatly increased.Therefore,many emergency power supply equipment and devices have been continuously developed and improved.The basic components of emergency power supply are composed of multiple components,such as battery packs,inverters,and isolation transformers.The working process is that when the mains is disconnected,the emergency power switch is instantly closed,and the function of inverter is transferring the electric energy stored in the battery to the load.When the mains power is restored,the emergency power supply is automatically disconnected from the load,and the rectifier rectifies the mains power into direct current to charge the battery,thereby supplementing the power consumed by the battery.In practical applications,the cases of mains power failuer are rare,and its function as for an emergency power supply is slightly single.There are some techniques such as PWM pulse width modulation and signal sampling are discussed in this article.By strengthening the function of reactive power compensation on the basis of the original functions of the emergency power supply,the emergency power supply can also be used as a device for load reactive power compensation in addition to emergency.The flexibility of emergency power supply has been improved greatly.After completing the hardware architecture and software design process of the new emergency power supply with reactive power compensation,through the real-time monitoring of the actual operation of the equipment and the output power quality,it shows that the new emergency power supply with reactive power compensation function designed in this paper can be used as standby power supply in the case of power failure,It can also be used as a compensation device for reactive power compensation of load.The novel emergency power supply has the economic and diversified characteristics that the traditional emergency power supply does not have.
