With the renewal and upgrading of electric locomotives,the overall quality and operational stability of the locomotives have gradually improved.As a major apparatus mounted on the roof of electric locomotives to collect power through contact with an overhead line,the operational stability of the pantograph is becoming increasingly important,in particular its performance of current collection and lifting in a low temperature environment.In order to improve the operational stability of the pantograph and reduce its failure rate under severe weather conditions such as winter ice and snow,haze,etc.,various maintenance departments of electric locomotives have adopted a variety of technical transformation programs and preventive measures targeting at the pantograph lifting and current collection problems.In spite of the diversified technical focuses and research directions,the various technical programs share the common ground on the inadequacy of comprehensive research and data support for their impact on overhaul and production as well as the maintenance standards in a later period.Aiming to analyze the comprehensive impact of each technical program on the pantograph performance of electric locomotives,this paper provides theoretical basis and data support for the maintenance and upgrading of corresponding technical programs in combination with the improvement of the pantograph’s overall operational performance.Based on the operating principles of the pantograph and each technical measure,the paper adopted the text mining technique to sort,consolidate and analyze the actual maintenance data over the years,and discussed and studies the data change pattern and anomalies in multiple dimensions,figuring out the connection between the change pattern of repair and maintenance data and the change pattern of the pantograph performance.Meanwhile,each of the mutual influences was sorted out in the form of fault tree analysis,and the calculation method for qualitative analysis of the comprehensive influence effect was designed and verified.Finally,the roles and influences of three main technical measures on the performance of the pantograph were determined,which provided a theoretical basis and data support for the maintenance and improvement of the pantograph in a later stage.
