In the modern industry,the power generation industry as one of the representatives is developing toward intelligence,information and digitization.Industrial production,it is always hoped that the power plant equipment can run normally all the time.But,in practical operation,because the parameter setting is unreasonable.Settings or aging problems of equipment,faults may occur.For the sake to find and deal with these emergencies in time,Monitoring on the operating equipment is crucial.Alarm systems quickly diagnose equipment in the plant and alert operators.But,in the power system,because of the relation and coupling between variables,abnormal working conditions will cause alarm surge and produce a large number of invalid alarms,which will seriously affect the speed of the operator to deal with the fault.Investigations have shown that many industrial disasters in history were caused by the failure of alarm systems to detect equipment failures in time.Thus,design a systematic is necessary.efficient and intelligent alarm system for safe and efficient production.For the sake of solving the problem better,this paper mainly introduces the alarm configuration technology which is often used in the industry,and the quantitative analysis and calculation formula of the performance index(false alarm rate,missing alarm rate and detection delay expectation).On this basis,a new design method of alarm system,the improved generalized time delay technique,is proposed.The detailed content is introduced in the following parts:1.In this text,the classification of dead zones is introduced,and by simplifying the Markov chain model with dead zones,the index calculation method of accuracy and agility of system measurement is given.Then the generalized delay timer is introduced.Compared with the traditional time delay,the generalized delay relaxes the conditions of alarm and increases the way of activating(eliminating)the alarm.2.Both the traditional delay and the generalized delay only design a single threshold value,which cannot make better use of the information obtained from the process variables.The improved generalized delay technology is to divide the process variables more carefully and set different judgment conditions for different regions by adding multiple set values on the basis of generalized delay.Finally,contrast with the traditional time delay,the proposed time delay can better improve the performance of the system.3.The design of intelligent alarm system based on the improved generalized delay technology is discussed.Compared with the generalized delay technology,this technology can effectively improve the accuracy and agility of the alarm system.The validity of the intelligent alarm system based on the generalized time delay technology in the intelligent power generation control is proved by using the actual power plant data.
